reflected on how we can 'be ready' for Jesus and repeated the mantra 'make us ready'. Some offered up prayers and we repeated 'make us ready'.

We took part in fun games that reflected the miracles that Jesus performed, as well as a time of reflection in their chapel.

These beautiful opportunities for stillness and prayer help us connect with our faith.

The focus this month has been adoration.

Faith in Action continued their fundraising efforts for Gaza and Ukraine in December with a 'Guess the Smarties in the Jar' class competition.

4A celebrated a beautiful class liturgy on Thursday where we quietly contemplated the powerful imagery in the picture above.

We then created a display to put above our prayer table.

The cover on our RE books reminds us that we want to come to know Jesus more deeply and follow His ways more closely.

The children have enjoyed using the prayer stones which helps them form their prayers.

The main theme of the assembly was about parables and how Jesus used parables to help explain his teachings.

They loved leaning their words and singing the hymns!

They decided they should help tackle the problem of food availability in their local community. Therefore, the children have donated tinned food and non-perishable items. The children did a fantastic job and have donated lots to help their local community and locals in need!

The children decided to respond with the use of mantra and a gesture. they held pebbles in a close fist and stated 'Jesus, bring us hope' and then opened their fist and said 'Jesus, bring us new life'.

During their evaluation, the class told the group that they really enjoyed this response.

I liked choosing the objects to go on the prayer focus.  We could choose the things we liked that linked with the Gospel Reading.

Junior disciples led our families in prayer this morning. The focus was our Blessed mother, and our gratitude for her courage in saying yes, to carry the Son of God. It was a beautiful start to our week!
