L10 - Forehead ADs by Mr. Migdal

Would you be concerned if your best friend or older sibling advertised on his/her forehead? What if it was company you didn't like or support? If you think it's okay, should there be an age restriction? Give reasons to support your ideas.

Yes, I would be concerned if my best friend or older sibling were to advertise on their forehead. I wouldn't want my friend/sibling to be embarrassed. Also I wouldn't want them to attract attention. I know everyday we're tampering with our bodies in a way. However if we were to advertise on our forehead it would just ad to the things we do to our body. I would be concern if someone I knew were to do this because they can damage their own image. Just because it's not permanent, it's still damaging the temple of God. God said to those whom damaged his temple he will destroy that person as his temple is holy. I would be concerned for my friend/sibling because I don't know what could happen to them as I care for them dearly.

I wouldn’t mind if my friend did this and advertised a company or product on their forehead. Of course I’m okay with it in general, but it’s also not really my decision whether they can or cannot advertise. It’s their body and they can do whatever they like to and besides, it’s not a big deal. It comes off, people. It’s just marker, and the fact that we can get paid just to walk around with this writing on our forehead is a great thing. Even if it was a company I didn’t particularly like, if it wasn’t anything embarrassing or inappropriate it would be okay to wear it. There shouldn’t be an age restriction. I think this is a stupid idea; why would you have to be a certain age to have writing on your head!? Anyone can wear it. Should it make a difference? What about those times you write something on your arm or hands? It’s like the same thing except on your forehead and that you’re getting paid to do it. Anyone can wear it.

Well, I wouldn't really care if my friend had an ad on their forehead. It's their choice to put an ad on their forehead and they are getting paid to just walk around. To be honest I would not care if they had an ad or not. If it was a company I dislike I wouldn't do anything as it could be something they like and God says that we shouldn't judge.I would say that there should be an age limit though as I wouldn't want to see a 4-year-old kid with a coke ad on their forehead. I would say that when you become a teenager you should be able to as you are old enough to make your own decisions. So I wouldn't care if people are walking billboards for companies but there should be an age restriction on it.

Yes, I would be concerned if I saw that one of my friends or family members had a tattoo on their face. I would ask them what was on their face and why they have it on their face. although I would be okay with it because they are doing it for money and it would not be harming anybody. I don't think there should be an age restriction because people under the 8 don't even know what advertisement is so they wouldn't even be advertising. In my last padlet I sad that this would be okay to a point I would not be okay if I saw a baby with an advertisement all over their body although, it's unlikely that that would happen so think its okay.

Honestly I wouldn't be concerned more confused if I saw really anyone with a tattoo ad on their forehead. First of all it's not my body and i don't think I'm in the right place to tell anyone what they should or shouldn't do. It's their body they can do as they chose as long as it doesn't affect me or go against me. I would be confused though cause who in the right mind thinks that getting a tattoo on their forehead is a good idea. I would defiantly get thier mental health check out. As well, if I was a company I liked and supported I would join the act' as they say "if you can't beat em' join em'. There should for sure be an age restriction on this. Many kids can easily get brainwashed or do anything for money. The company could be promoting something that the child won't fully understand.

I wouldn't be as concerned if my best friend or sibling was to advertise on their forehead. They have their own opinions and perspectives and all I can do is try to convince them against it. If they are still set on it, then I wouldn't support them, but I wouldn't stop them either. Whether the ad was for a company I supported or not, I still wouldn't tattoo (even if they're temporary) advertisements on my forehead. I have no say over what others do, and although I wouldn't do it myself, I do think they should put an age restriction on this kind of advertisement, to limit the number of people, and stop younger children from doing this. If they believe getting a tattoo for some quick cash is fine, they might stretch the boundaries and also believe getting real tattoos or doing other crazy stuff for money is fine too.

I also think there should be no age restriction because for companies like Coca Cola It would look cute for a young chid to have a message advertising Coke on there head and the parents or guardian is making a good profit, it is a win, win on both sides.

But at the end of the day if he doesn't care I woun't even try to change his mine because everyone doess whatever they want but they also are the only ones who feel the consequences. If it was one of my siblings thats a completly different story. I would not only lecture them every single day I would punish them in ways like, i'll let them play if they stop doing what they are doing. It sunds like I am being tough on them but to be honest if I had a sibling all I want to see is him/her succed in life and not become into a bad, uneducated person.

In my opinion, I would be concerned if my one of my siblings advertised on their foreheads because they might regret it when they are older and it wouldn't look very good because it's on their face and everyone can see it. People might think that they would do anything for money and it makes the advertisers have control over them, and making them look like objects. If it wasn't permanent I would tell them to take it out this very moment. I would definitely add age restrictions because the more young people do it the more our population would look weird. I say the age restrictions have to be from the age 20+.

If my sibling or best friend advertised on their forehead, I'd be jealous. They're making easy bucks while I'm sitting here with a crumpled $5 bill in my pocket. It is a clever way to get money and its sin free. If it's a company I didn't like or support, it would depend. Say my friends gets pepsi on their forehead but I'm not a fan of that drink, I wouldn't care. Its literally just a drink. If it was something unethical, I wouldn't support them. These companies are very bad and to support them is completely corrupt. Its like saying bullying is ok except on your forehead. Well I believe there should be an age restriction for certain products. Say a baby had buy a Barbie doll on their forehead, I wouldn't care. If the baby had drink beer or something in that sort, then I wouldn't agree as I see it as promoting young drinkers. What I'm saying is the adult stuff should be tattooed on adults foreheads and kid stuff on kids foreheads.

I wouldn’t be concerned if my friend did this advertisement because, first of all it’s not really my choice it’s their’s. I’m not against the idea of people overall advertising(writing something on your forehead). Not only that but I wouldn’t mind doing the advertisement either, it is easy money. It is also their body and decision. It comes of anyway, and their not doing anything wrong to their body. If it wasn’t something something appropriate then even I wouldn’t do it, but other wise they wouldn’t even embarrass them selfs. If I saw someone advertising like that, then I wouldn’t think it’s embarrassing, I would think “Wow, they are so lucky to make easy money like that. The company also thought of a great way to advertise”. So in the end, I would want to get easy money too.

I would be concerned if it was a company I don't like or support, as that company most likely does unethical stuff and my friend promoting that company gives him a bad look and me, as I'm supporting his decisions. I feel like their should be a age limit, probably 15 years old. As a kid that is what, 11 years old doing that stuff, concerns parents and others about the stuff kids do and how they are like outside of school and home. It also reflects how kids are nowadays and what they are learning from society and the environment they live in.

Even if its a company or something I completely disagree with, you still have a right to freedom of speech and I cant judge. Should there be an age limit? it depends. If its something appropriate then its fine for little kids to do it if its something inappropriate then its not fine whatsoever. For example if they have like vodka on their forehead and their four then that's a problem but if they have Kool-Aid then I'm fine with that, only if their parents give consent of course.
