Damon Salvatore is a vampire obsessed with being the cool bad guy and going against social norms. 

He is a charismatic, mysterious character who is also highly intelligent, cunning and adaptive. He has a self-destructive behaviour and he is a narcissist, able to get exactly what he wants. 

 Damon is constantly destroying everything, even the relationships with those he loves.

He acquires all the essence of a Byronic hero.

Although, he uphold high morals, but he is rebellious, cryptic, arcane and dangerous to know.

He resembles an anti hero, protagonist, who is further driven by an ulterior motive in life.

He is dark, ruthless, depressive, self serving, traumatized, emotional, imperfect, intelligent at the same time.

  

Dorian Gray was a very intelligent and sophisticated young man who becomes aware of his beauty after seeing his portrait, made by his friend.

Dorian starts caring only about his beautiful, everlasting youth, he is desired by many women that he charms. Dorian is able to seduce both male and female, Although being handsome and passionate, Dorian suffers because of his portrait  that mirrors a mysterious magnetic and charismatic dark side. The fact that his portrait reflects his soul while he stays young in fact leads him to deep emotional introspective conflicts.

 

 

He’s handsome and many girls fall in love with him. He is moody and mysterious, especially at the beginning of the story, because he is individualist and with greater abilities than the others. He can be considered a rebel because he breaks the rules of society (in this case staff and guests cannot have relationships) and he disobeys to Baby’s father.

He’s outsider and isolated but he’s able to seduce many girls, thanks to his pride, his arrogance and his superiority compared to other common men. 

We don’t know much about his past but sometimes he has rude manners, which introduces an hidden suffering and a rebel character. With Baby he is passionate and erotic and she was able to make him better thanks to her love for him.
