Scientific Question: How does temperature impact that rate of cellular respiration (fermentation) in yeast

C: Hot temperatures make the rate of anaerobic cellular respiration go faster.

E: The flask with the hot water caused the fermentation process to go faster and the balloon filled up with more carbon dioxide faster. Whereas the balloon and flask that had the cold water in it caused the fermentation to happen slower but carbon dioxide was still produced. Just not as much. The final circumference of the cold water experiment balloon was 19 cm. The final circumference of the warm water experiment balloon was 27 cm.

R: Cellular Respiration happened in both experiments but hot water caused it to go faster causing more carbon dioxide to be produced. The reason it reacted differently is because it prefers hot water over cold. Therefore, it reacted differently. Carbon dioxide is a product of Cellular Respiration and the flask with the warm water produces more carbon dioxide because the reaction is happening faster.
