Now they can not cancel your coverage aside from non-payment or fraud.
2.  Recession was a problem before the Affordable Care Act was established but it was not a really big problem, now it is officially not a problem.

Now with the Affordable Care Act in place people can lie purposefully on insurance applications, and the insurance companies can not do anything about it. Now it has to be proved by the insurance companies that people purposely misrepresented themselves on the applications. 
2. Some states never adopted the ban on rescission because of the impact it would have on there economy, but now it is a national banned.
3.  Rescission was never a nation-wide problem, mostly just in certain states.
