       - maybe work with studco to integrate the classroom collaborative plan into support and access services? could act as a data base of notes once enough information is collected among different groupme's/individuals
        - work to continue to advocate for paying SDAC notetakers, needs to be incentivized so students feel they can trust the quality of notes done by their peers ---> maybe push for having a requirement of at least 2 notetakers per course (when that accommodation applies to a student in the class) so that the info in the notes can be cross-referenced 
       - illness, being immunocompromised, and other disabilities should not be a barrier to educational success at the university 
- involvement with disability awareness week (feb.4) through a political education event on the intersection between socialist and disability rights organizing - this is short notice but the CIO to contact is CIDC (they are in charge of the schedule of events for the week)

why: UVA is tax exempt as a university, since it provides the public good of "education." With the estimated $9 million UVA would pay in taxes (if it voluntarily contributed 100% of its estimated taxes through a PILOT program), the city would have enough funding to enable considerable investment in the local public school system as well as affordable housing without having to raise taxes for local residents. UVA essentially functions as a for-profit enterprise while maintaining non-profit status, is the largest landowner in the metro-area, and only contributed 33K in taxes in the last fiscal cycle to the city of Charlottesville. The university has an endowment of over 15 billion. Achieving an effective PILOT program in the city would enable the strengthening of the multi-racial working class in Charlottesville in many ways.
