Baptisia arachnifera
On the endangered list and is only found in 2 counties in southeast Georgia. These plants are covered with white cobweb-like hairs all over it. It blooms in late June through early August but has leaves and the hairy appearance throughout the year.

I believe that the grasslands biome is in the most danger of ecological change. With the development of new homes and the destruction of forests, animals leave the air and in return cause the conditions of the environment to change. During this period, farmers lived in larger crowds in smaller areas. Due to this, diseases were easily spread from one person to another and cause epidemics. They did not have very good hygiene and sanitation practices and the farmers contracted diseases such as anthrax, tuberculosis, and brucellosis. Another issue during this period that led to diseases was the use of contaminated water by animal and human wastes.

I chose this image because this was a very important machine when planting crops. My father in law plants corn every year and without his tractor it would take a lot more time to complete. We need to reduce our wastefulness and start recycling. I do not want my children to live in a world that is covered in peoples garbage.
