Hey Mrs. Guerro, I couldn't find my image, but it was an image of Freddie's sister Truus. This image was taken at the same time as image one, so Truus is 15-19 years old. Her hair is very short, and it doesn't even go down to her shoulders. She is wearing a plaid shirt.

I couldn't get my fifth image to show up, but it was an image of Haarlem, the town where Freddie and Truus were born and raised. There is a line of people in the middle of the street. They are dressed in warm clothes, so we can infer that it's winter. There is a statue in the middle of the street, but I'm not sure who it is. There are also a lot of buildings and trees all around.

I couldn't find this image either, but it was another picture of Freddie during the war. She looks a little older than in the first image, but she is still very young. She looks about 14-18 years old. She has her hair in braids with ribbons tied on the end. She is wearing what seems to be a fluffy white sweater, and she is in front of a window.

She started giving out newspapers and pamphlets against the Nazis in 1940. In 1941, a commander of the Haarlem Resistance Group asked to recruit Freddie and her sister. With that group, the sisters sabotaged bridges and railway lines. They also assassinated Nazis and Dutch collaborators. Freddie and Truus both killed, but Freddie was really good at following their target and keeping look out during their missions. The girls did more work with the Haarlem Resistance Group such as helping Jews get to a new hiding spot, working in the emergency hospital located in Enschede, and they blew up the rainway line going from Ijmuiden and Haarlem. The girls also joined forces with another young resistance fighter, Hannie Schaft in 1943.

By destroying railway lines and bridges like the railway line between Ijmuiden and Haarlem, Freddie cut off the German’s supply of food and weapons. They also made it so the Nazis couldn’t transport Jews by destroying railway lines.
