In my opinion, change begins when an individual understands the importance of protecting the enviroment. For example, supermarkets carry out "No Plastic bag day Campaigns", however if a consumer would like to use a plastic bag, they will be charged 20 sens which is a small amount that consumers do not think twice to pay. Simple steps such as the 3R (Reduce, Reuse and Recycle) culture are not practiced in our daily lives. Therefore, a change in mindset is required before real change can begin. 

We as future engineers, it is definitely important for us to learn about the environmental protection and its laws. The protection of key elements of our environment is important for human health. The ability to breathe clean air, to have a supply of wholesome drinking water and to be protected against the harmful effects of things like waste and noise are fundamental to our well-being. When designing and manufacturing a product or when constructing a building, it is a responsibility for us to ensure that the entire process will not cause any harmful effects to our Mother Earth. 

As human beings, we are the only one who can save our Mother Earth, so we must think before we act and we must start to act now before it is too late.

When everyone enjoys the convenience that technology brings to us, they do not recognize the environmental damage caused by rapid human development. Since Industrial Revolution, the act of improper disposal of waste caused water and air pollution problems. When governments do vast deforestation for urbanization and making home and prosperity for people, it may also lead the wild animals extinction and climate change.

As an earthling, we have to know the environmental protection and its law as pieces of knowledge and develop self-awareness in protecting our planet. And to be an engineer, we should treat those drawbacks as one of the main consideration in the planning process before doing any projects and development. Works on pollution control technology have to planned wisely to make sure ecological balance.

 

In the present era, the people are harming the environment in such a way that it is dangerous for the human existence. In order to protect the environment, the government has introduced certain environmental laws in our country to protect the environment from ill- practices of humans. Conservation and protection of the environment have been an inseparable part of Indian heritage and culture.

The human environment consists of both physical environment and biological environment. Physical environment covers land, water, and air. While, biological environment includes plants, animals, and other organisms. Both physical and biological environment are inter-dependent. Industrialisation, urbanisation, the explosion of population, over-exploitation of resources, disruption of natural ecological balances, destruction of a multitude of animal and plant species for economic reasons are the factors which have contributed to environmental deterioration. One country’s degradation of environment degrades the global environment. The problem of environmental pollution has acquired international dimension and Malaysia is no exception to it.

Environmental pollution has become one of the greatest threats to mankind and are more frequent with increasingly serious consequences.  Environmental pollution does not respect national boundaries: transnational action is required.  Ultimately, laws will ensure that companies who pollute are the ones paying the costs of preventing or repairing damage to the environment.

So, we as an engineering student should learn and apply the laws. Learning environmental protection and its laws is very important for us. These things will differentiate us from people out there who didn't learn about laws and did ignore the health of our future world. These knowledges will help us to understand more about do's and dont's which related  our earth.

Everything in this world have their own rules or laws that needs us to obey it. Same with environment law, in order to obey it, first of all we must learn what its all about. From my point of view, learning environmental protection and its law is the effective way to avoid exploitation of resources and further damaging to our environment. Humanity has always engineered the environment around us. From the earliest days of wetland drainage and the need to acquire fresh water, to keep it flowing and keep it clean enough to drink, building cesspits to take away our waste and to stop pollution of vital waterways, we have always strived to maximize our sanitation and living conditions in order to expand and survive. 

Sanitation is a large part of our civil evolution; without it, we would succumb more often to water-borne disease and illness - raising our mortality rates and lowering our quality of life. Therefore, we've always needed to find bigger and better ways of taking away our sewage, cleaning our water and harnessing natural or artificial water supplies for our health and environment. Since the industrial revolution in the 19^th century we have needed to prevent businesses and individuals from polluting the environment with harmful substances.

Engineer's work has indirect relationship with the environment which can create either good or bad impacts on it, depends on the decision made by engineers. Learning about the environmental protection and its law can help to minimize the bad impacts to environment from engineering work, such as, industrial wastes. Engineers can make decision by taking consideration of environmental factors to minimize or prevent the harmful effects on environment. 

Awareness can be created among the engineers by learning the environmental protection. Helping the company to solve problems and making profits are the prioritized jobs of an engineer. But it should not be done on top of sacrificing the environments. Therefore, engineers should aware of that too.

Besides, the environmental laws provide the guidelines to engineers by outlining the standards regulations and policies that must be followed strictly for the sake of our environments.  Any action that disobeyed the laws can cause the person in charge to receive penalty.

The adverse impacts of the environment on health are therefore a core concern of environmental health practitioners (EHPs). An important part of their work involves investigating, identifying and assessing environmental problems and then working out the best approaches to tackle them.

Solutions range from identifying the correct scientific or technical method for reducing or eliminating a problem to taking legal action to sanction those who cause pollution or a nuisance. Securing compliance is not just about the courts, however, and EHPs also have an important role in advising industry and others on how to meet their legal obligations

From my perspective, while introducing engineering students to key environmental legislation it explores how law is shaped by those with vested interests in the outcome and how law is applied, or ignored, in environmental decision making. We will gain a critical understanding of the law and its role in environmental decision making. 

 

Environmental Law also will enable us to apply our understanding of environmental pollution to the legal and policy mechanisms that control harmful emissions to protect and enhance our environment.

These constructions may have negative effect on environment. By following the environmental law, we need to provide some wise solution to minimize the negative effect on environment. So, it is very important for engineers to learn environmental law.

Personally, I think environment nowadays are harmed by us and our bad activities which became a state that is harmful for humans to live in. Illegal acts and unrighteous habits to dispose of chemicals, unwanted waste and other materials that could be recycled is slowly making our planet ill. These laws not only preserve for a better future of clean air and away from harm but also protects the environment from any harmful actions and controls the illegal habits that causes depletion to our environment. We as engineers play an important role by setting a limitation in every decision we do. Harmful substances and toxins or gasses should undergo filtering before disposing them. This not only help in saving the environment but also reduces cost of products and minimize wastage.

I think as a future engineer, we should well aware the importance of learning about environmental protection and its laws so that we can protect our environment from any harmful effects from human rapid development. It is importance to us all to have a good knowledge and better understanding about the environmental laws so that we can avoid any work against the laws in the future. Regulation alone does not solve every problem, that is why we should continually look for ways to provide environmental protection as efficiently and easily as possible for the sake of our children and generations yet to come.

First of all, basically, as an engineer, especially in the industries that manufactured products, obviously, there are many waste from produced. Thus from learning the environmental protection and laws, the procedure on how to manage the waste are guided base on the laws. It also put a limit to the factories about the waste produce and how to apply the 3R concept (reuse, reduce and recycle) the waste.

First and foremost, the protection is very important for all the live beings of the planet. The ability to breathe clean air, to have a supply of wholesome drinking water and to be protected against the harmful effects of things like waste and noise are fundamental to our well-being. With the law, industries do not have the ability to produce unlimited waste such as chemicals (pesticides, additives, etc) but they must follow the scheduled that has been set. Also, with the laws, the waste water would be monitor and automobiles manufacturer have some rules or benchmark for the noxious gas output and cars would be monitored for their output over time.

It is important to learn about environment protection and its laws to minimize the destruction to environment. The developments of technology have made our lives easier but they also cause some adverse effects to the environment. A lot of hazardous by product have been generated in the development of new technology, causing global warming, natural disasters and etc. And, we can see that people worldwide are suffering from natural disasters for what they have done to the environment. Therefore, care must be taken in pursue of advancements in technology to avoid the destruction of environment.  

Its is important to learn about environmental law because it act as guideline for us in order to maintain the ecosystem and preserve the Earth for future generation. It is important to make sure the Earth can be a better place. Human need air and water to survive, therefore engineer need to find solution to reduce waste to the environment and to ensure the sustainability of our environment.

 In my opinion, learning about the environmental protection and its laws is important because resources are limited. We are responsible to protect and prevent further damaging. With studying the environmental protection and its laws could always alert us not to pollute the environment while developing and understand our role and responsibility. For example, pollution resulting in melting of ice in arctic and Antarctic, acid rain, and other side effect that created are affect the ecological balance. Thus, it is environment protection and its laws are important for us as a future engineer. 

First of all, many environmental problems are caused by human actions. That is why we are an engineer responsible to find solutions to these problems. The environmental law is important to guide us to love the environment and to prevent and control any problems that may that may lead to the damage of environment.

Hence, I believe that environmental law is a very important key for stopping these conditions from deteriorates and learning about environmental protection and its law as an engineer can be beneficial to the environment. In recent decades, many environmental problems have increased as the result of human activities. In my opinion, the main reason that engineers need to learn environmental law is to conserve and preserve of the ecosystems and to protect the environment. Protect the environment is the responsibility of each of us to save earth from pollution. The environmental law protect land, air, water, and soil. If person breaks the environmental law, punishments will be given such as fines, community service and even jail time. Thus, as a future engineer, we need to make development without damaging the nature.

Studying about the environmental protection and its laws are extremely crucial as it gives good impact in saving our mother earth. As we concerned, our earth is experiencing natural disaster quite frequently nowdays such as earthquake, flash flood , global warming and so on. 

Environmental protection is a practice of protecting the natural environment on individual, organization controlled on governmental levels, for the benefit of both the environment and humans. As the humans, we should know that it is our obligation to protect and conserve our earth. The knowledge on the importance of saving our mother nature is very vital to each and everyone of us so that we will not neglect our responsibilities to our environment. So when we are aware of the danger that we are causing to our environment, at least we know how to overcome or reduce it by implementing certain measures. Those measures are using biodegradable plastic bags, reduce the usage of chlorofluorocarbon items, practice carpooling, avoid open burning and so on. 

 Apart from that, studying about the environmental laws are equally important as well. Environmental law, also known as environmental and natural resources law, is a collective term describing the network of treaties, statues, reg, common and customary laws addressing the effects of human activity on the environment. So when people get to know the penalty for the illegal activities they commit, for sure they would back off from doing such things. Thus the rate of illegal activities that causes negative impact on our environment will reduce.  

With globalisation which is only increasing in speed has caused detrimental effects not only to the Earth but also to human health. In my opinion, it is important for us to learn about the environmental law as it reminds us how serious the problems of various pollutions are. Besides, it also addresses all the regulations, laws and enforceable guidelines that control our natural resources.

For me, engineers should learn about the environmental law. By learning environmental law, engineers should plan their chemical plant or operation well so that they would not create much waste that will pollute our environment. Engineers should know what can be done and what is prohibited. The law reminds us about the importance of environmental protection and hence prevent the emissions of harmful chemical and biological contaminants into the atmosphere, water and soil.

For me, the importance of learning the environment protection and its law is that we can prevent environmental pollution that may affect us in the future. If not, earth will may not be habitable as the pollutions are uncontrollable. The air will be polluted with toxic substances that will affect humans and animal’s health or maybe ocean will be covered with oil which can the marine animals. Thus, by having the environmental protection and the law, it will ensure a healthy and safe environment that can be result in a good life to us and vice versa. 

Besides that,  the environmental law also become as an awareness to preserve the environment. It will control the environment pollution because the developer will get caught by authorities if they pollute the environment.

As future engineers, we should clearly know and understand about the environment laws in Malaysia because the laws could help to prevent us from destroying our beautiful nature and mother earth. The laws in Malaysia such as Environmental Quality Act which is enforced since 1963 will make sure those parties who are involved in polluting the environment such as in the form of air, water, noise and soil, will get the corresponding punishment or will be required to improve or recover back the effect of the pollutants that are released out. Engineers should also think of several solutions to prevent harmful substances to be released out to the environment or to reduce the harmful level of the substances before they are excreted out, with the condition of obeying the environmental laws.

Hi, this is Tang Sze Khai, 133686 from School of Chemical Engineering year 2. 

Before we start with importance of Environmental Law, let’s begin with why we should preserve and conserve the environment. 

First and foremost, environment provides all useful resources for our human activities. There are a few examples that can be related to this. As myself is from Chemical Engineering background, the main focus would be fossil fuels, or more specifically is petroleum. However, we are not talking about how vehicles consuming petroleum and releasing green house gases. As future engineers, we must look into a larger perception which is industrial level. The amount of petroleum used as motive force in Malaysia is around 829 thousands barrel oil per day in 2016 (data obtained from The Statistics Portal). Without a proper guideline, those industries will race with each other without taking into consideration of environmental problem but only to look into profits. They will carry on their production at the same time creating more environment-harm wastes such as Carbon Dioxide due to combustion and toxic chemicals disposing in water sources. By having an Environmental Law, it is possible for government to limit the gas and water pollution caused to environment from industries. Issues such as global warming can be reduced and if possible completely solved when renewable energies are fully prioritized. Hence, engineers should be able to control environmental problem such as gas pollution while finding ways to overcome or alternatives to replace energy sources. 

Secondly, Earth is another important resource for human beings. The Earth referred is land and soil in our mother Earth. Even though we have plenty of land available for planning human activities, it might be depleted in near future. The reason is that not every land is useful to us, and there are some areas that are abandoned or are going to be abandoned. For a normal person, he/she might think that by burying rubbish under the soil will ‘eliminate’ the rubbish forever. Perhaps this person might not contribute much to soil pollution. What if every Malaysian and even the industries start to follow this wrong doing? This mind set is totally wrong that most of the rubbish nowadays are made up from plastic and other chemicals which not be able to undergo biodegradation even after a thousand years. Hence, the plastics will remain in the soil for an extremely long period and continuously make the soil toxic. In another 10 years, perhaps the particular soil or land will not be able to be used in certain fields for example construction and agriculture. Usable land becomes less and more reserved area must be exploited to cope up with human development. Thus, by creating a restriction on soil pollution, we are able to maximize the usability of land area without having to constantly destroy unexplored forest. In Environmental Quality Act Part 4 section 24, people are not allowed to cause pollution to the soil, convinces that government really look into environment sustainability in long term. Hence, land development can be controlled at the same time reducing cutting down of forests that destroys habitat of flora and fauna. 

Last but not least, even though clean water might not be a big concern for now, it will be a major issue in the near future. According to BBC World, it is reported that demand for clean water might increases about 55% from 2000 to 2050 based on human population today. Our mother Earth has around 70% area covered with water. However, the real matter is 98% water is not readily available for human activities, thus leaving only small portion of clean water to fit every single population. As the demand for clean water increases, we on the other hand keep pollutes our rivers and seas with rubbishes from daily activities and toxics from industries. Those activities not only will cause water pollution in small area, it might pollute and cause unusable of underground water which certainly will leave a long term effect for our mother Earth. Hence, our future generation might have trouble in living a healthy lifestyle without clean waters. Restriction must be done by enforcing Environment Law to prevent water pollution from overspreading. Therefore, we must know the importance of preserving an environment, minimize dispose of toxic waste while reserving clean waters for future use. 

As future engineers, we are responsible to learn all those Environment Laws as to understand which actions should be prevented. These law will be our guideline in our future working environment, to teach us on how to create a sustainable environment without only focusing in social development. If engineers do not plan development properly, human will face a hard time in balancing a healthy lifestyle in the future. Hence, who are going to take actions to overcome environment issues if engineers only focuses on finding profits while doing harm to the environment? 

Engineers should solve problems, not creating problems to the environment.

Nowadays, environmental problem has gained increasing attention from the society. It is now time to join hands to protect and preserve our environment and thereby safeguard human health. 

In my opinion, we need to learn about the environmental protection and environmental law to reduce the pollution through proper management and processing of garbage as well as industrial wastes. The air and water supply around us is the utmost importance to our continued survival on this planet. Therefore, we need to expose ourselves to environmental laws as learning environment laws more or less will let us aware of what we should do and what should not do to the surroundings. Besides, the knowledge of environment protection enable us as the future engineers to play a role to save our environment by not doing any plan that will “destroy” our environment. For instance, as chemical engineer, we would not release the chemical waste without the proper treatment as we know that the action is against the law and will pollute our planet. By having the knowledge about the environmental laws and environment protection, we could work in concerted effort with the government to protect our environment.

Before discuss about the importance of engineers need to study environmental law, I would like to define the environmental law. Environmental law is a system of rules which related to the environment that includes water and air quality, hazardous waste management as well as sustainability strategies and alternative source. 
 
There are numerous environmental problems are caused by human’s greediness as we want exploit all the resources without caring the environment. We, as engineers in future are responsible in finding methods and obey the environmental laws as guidelines. These guidelines help us in preventing  the damage of our mother Earth which leads to climax changes and influence our health. Besides, as chemical engineer, we are dealing with perilous chemicals. We need to learn environmental laws for monitoring the toxic contamination to prevent  air, water, sound and soil to be polluted. This can ensure a greener environment for our younger generation. Thus, for all those reasons we are necessary to study environmental laws. 

Environmental protection refers to any measure that is taken to conserve, maintain or preserve the state of the environment. Protection of the environment can be done through reducing pollutants or anything that leads to its degradation. It aims at the reduction of overusing the natural resources. It is the taking care of all the components that make up the environment. When the environment is protected it serves to benefit all those who rely on it. It serves in the maintenance of life for the plants, humans and animals.

Hi everyone, my name is Low Ting Peng, second year student from School of Chemical Engineering. 

When things are free, we tend to take them for granted. Fresh air is no exception. The apathetic attitude of human beings in general towards the importance of having a clean environment is sorely telling. Open burning goes on and emissions from factories continue to dirty the atmosphere. It is indeed an uphill task to fight against environmental problems. Though we cannot undo the damage that we have already done, we can prevent it from becoming worse. It is our duty to protect and preserve the environment, and thus, Earth. 

In my opinion, it is vital for us to aware of the environmental problems and our role to ensure that environment supports every living species in a comfortable way. Therefore, it is important for us to learn the environmental protection to prevent several illnesses and preserve the ecosystem for our future generation. If we fail to protect our environment, future existence will be destroyed and the weather condition will get worse. Hence, environmental law is needed to establish protection for our scarce natural resources and surroundings, like land, water and air. 

The common and customary laws addressing the effects of human activity on environment. It enable regulators to manage environment impacts using plans, policies, standards, liciences and incentives. Besides, environmental laws help to protect the environment by imposing reasonable restrictions and penalties for any ill activities. Meanwhile, as a future chemical engineer, we will deal with various chemical substances, hence, we are responsible to learn environmental protection laws for monitoring of toxic contamination to bring pollution to the least. It will act as a guideline in our future working field that direct us to create a sustainable environment that not only prioritize on social development. We live in a time when the environment is in danger, so it is important to protect it. We need a healthy environment in order to survive, so we must protect it. We need to protect the environment now to help prevent health problems, to maintain the ecosystem, and to preserve the Earth for our children.

Pollution from factories can cause damage to the environment. It makes the air dirty. Breathing this dirty air causes health problems, particularly for children and the elderly. Pollution not only increases spending on health care, but also decreases working ability. We need to control the amounts of pollution we produce in order to prevent health problems.

If we do not protect our environment it will continue to get worse and our children will suffer the consequences. The air and water will be dirtier, natural resources will become scarcer, and more plants and animals will die. Our children won’t have as much natural beauty to admire. Even worse, their well-being will be threatened.

Without clean air to breathe, a healthy ecosystem, and a future for our children, the human race will not survive. That is why protecting our environment is important. 

 

The world is becoming more crowded, more consuming, and more connected. Growing populations and higher standards of living put increasing pressure on our environment. Environmental problems are just as real and just as in need of intelligent solutions.  The protection of key elements of our environment is important for human health.

For me , the ability to breathe clean air, to have a supply of wholesome drinking water and to be protected against the harmful effects of things like waste and noise are fundamental to our well-being. The environment provides many benefits. It heals us and helps us stay healthy. While medicines are derived from the elements of the environment and living organisms, sometimes simply being exposed to sunlight and fresh, clean air makes a difference in how we feel. 

The environment supports our life. The natural process that occur in the environment promote the existence of life. With the current scientific innovations, the environment is endangered. There is the discharge of so many harmful greenhouse gases that disrupt the natural processes of the environment. 

In my own view, as a future engineer to get know the importance of learning environmental protection and its laws is a need to produce a sustainable environment. This is because the protection of key elements of our environment is important for human health. From my point of view, the importance of learning about the environmental protection is to have a healthy environment in order to survive, so we must protect it. Without clean air to breathe, a healthy ecosystem, and a future for our children, the human race will not survive. That is why protecting our environment is important. If we have a healthy environment not only the company is going to make a profit but also workers, customers and community. 

Besides, it is importance for us to study the environmental laws because we need to protect our environment and prevent our environment from pollution. We need to make sure that the quality of environment is in good condition. 

Moreover, the law is important to preserve the environment by taking a reasonable action and also the penalties on any action which can harm the environment and to promote sustainable development.

In my opinion, learning environmental laws is indeed crucial for an engineer in order to ensure environmental protection and regulation. For the last century, human activities such as unplanned development, deforestation and rapid industrialization have caused irreversible damage to our Earth. Following that, many environmental problems are rising in an alarming rate. These environmental problems should be taken seriously as they pose negative impacts on our Mother Nature as well as all living organisms. 

If these situations were to be persisted, the good lives of our future generation will no doubt be doomed by us. Therefore, learning environmental laws helps to educate future engineers to practise sustainability and proper environmental management in the midst of development. 

Environmental law is a complex group of laws and regulations which operate to regulate the interaction of human life to the natural environment. These laws are proposed to protect and preserve the environment. There are a lot of activities that bring harm to the Mother Earth. For instance, deforestation, open burning, effluents (harmful and toxic gases) from industrial area, inappropriate wastewater treatment and others. Hence, the environmental laws and regulations are needed to prohibit people from ruining the beauty of the Earth. Engineers that are educated with the importance of environmental laws, are believed to come out with effective ways to minimize the problems (pollution) induced during the development of country.

We, human throw the wastes into the river without knowing that the wastes affect the aquatic creatures in the river and the quality of the water. The main issue here is that we do not realise that these actions bring harm to our lives because it creates a filthy surrounding and the bacteria grows everywhere. Also, learning environment law is important because it reminds us to not do anything that bring harm to the environment and society

We, human beings are gifted with a beautiful environment which we take for granted today.Let us take a moment to reflect on a sad truth.The world has become a place where pollution, disasters and diseases are widespread causing the earth and all the living organisms to suffer the consequences made by mankind.If this continues, extinction of certain species will certainly occur.An example of danger caused by irresponsible acts human beings are throwing wastes to the sea and causing aquatic animals such as turtles and dolphins to die because these poor animals mistaking the plastic bags for jelly fish.

Apart from the government and community, I solely believe that engineers play a vital role in taking care of the environment.Once engineers are equipped with knowledge about environmental protection and its laws,they tend to have the obligation to concern themselves with pollution, when it attributes to human safety and health.Furthermore, these engineers will also work more in promoting a cleaner environment to protect human health.With proper environmental education engineers will try their level best to minimise the extreme impacts on the environment during both construction and operation processes. In addition, engineers will also plan the waste management from the site excellently.

Younger generation too should be educated more about environmental protection and its laws.Why did I say so?This is because younger generation is the one who can bring a better environment by changing their lifestyle and implement all the environmental laws that are less ineffective now to protect nature.Knowledge about environmental protection and caring about our environment provides a clean environment for us to lead a healthy lifestyle.

One of the ways to protect nature is by going green.Where and how do we go green?It is always the best to start from the house.For instance, we should not use lights during daytime, close the running water tap when not needed and always bring a recyclable bag when shopping to reduce plastic waste.Such small acts could actually bring big impacts to the world, and it will make the world a better place.

 

Why should we learn about environmental protection and its laws? As an engineer-to-be, it is very important for us to know about the rules and regulations in every aspect and follow strictly to ensure safety and sustainability. In the process of designing new product, it is very crucial to follow the laws especially in environmental laws or else the product will not be able to launch due to the violation of laws. For example, automotive manufacturer should achieve a specific benchmark on the gas emission at a certain level depend on the country. Hence, it is the basic for us, future engineer, to learn and adapt to the environmental protection laws to serve a sustainable and greener environment.

 

In the other hand, as an Earth citizen, we should know how to protect and preserve our own precious mother Earth to maintain and sustain the environment for future. Environment is essential to every living things on earth. Without a decent, sustainable environment, none of living thing could survive from it. We, human beings, the most intelligent creatures on Earth, it is our responsibility to provide the environment and save the Mother Nature.

We learn the methods of preservation and conservation to the environment. Also, it teaches us how to strike a balance point on infrastructure development and environment protection.  In my opinion, environmental protection is an important issue for society today as scientific research provides evidence of increasing global warming, ozone depletion and higher levels of pollution. As an engineer to be, we usually learn how to design, develop and evaluate structures, equipment and systems to provide practical solutions to problems caused by increasing consumption and waste, and the potential threats to biodiversity. Tougher environmental regulations and efforts to prevent problems before they occur are just two examples of the increasing challenges environmental engineers are exposed to.             Environmental engineers are called upon to play an important role in environmental protection, because engineering solutions are required to meet the environmental standards set by legislation. Thus, it’s important for the students of engineering to learn about environmental law as it will be during their working days as a practising engineer.

In my point of view, the Environmental Laws are very important for human being as a guideline for every actions as well as any development activities.  It restricts any destructive action to the environment. By studying environmental protections and its laws, we get to know the Dos and Don’ts for the environment and educate the next generation the importance of preservation of environment for a better future.

From my points of view, learning about the environmental law is crucial to creating awareness among people. Nowadays, environmental problems arising with all the development and eventually die out along with it. Cars pollution, emission of toxic gas from factories, wastes dumped into rivers, clear-cutting of forests and etc. These situations are getting worse day by day, and we, the human being are the one should take the responsibility for it. As we live in a way too comfortable, we always take them for granted. We can't really realize how harmful are those actions which can actually cause irreversible damage to our mother Earth. Hence, it is important to expose ourselves to environmental laws as to maintain the sustainability of the world. 

Furthermore, engineer which actually directly involved in introducing new technologies for development should focus more on how to preserve our environment when we are handling projects. As a future chemical engineer, we deal with chemical substances, so we should learn environmental protection laws and treat it as guidelines for monitoring purpose. For instance, we would figure out the proper treatment to minimize the effect of release dangerous waste which actually obey the environmental laws.

In conclusion, environmental law can be a gateway to discipline ourselves. The law aware us about the importance of environmental protection and tell us what can be done and what is not. Learning about the environmental protection and its law will make us aware of the dos and don'ts as we try to solve problems using the most modern and sophisticated technology available. No doubt, a law regarding environment is very crucial to be implement in maintaining the healthy society in this era where development won’t stop unless when the doom come. Environmental law is concerning the adverse impacts of the environment on human health. In the era of globalization, environmental aspect was very important in order to maintain the stability of ecosystem and at the same time it ensure the welfare of living things such as our human health. This is because our health level is depends on the condition of our environment. If the environment condition was bad, it will affect our health significantly. Thus, as human being, which has abilities in making decision either something good or bad, it was completely become our responsibility in playing role to environmental sustainability of our mother nature.

Learning about environmental protection and its laws is very important as it give us awareness to preserve our environment. ‘’We Solve Problem!” As a future engineer, we should well aware the importance of learning about environmental protection and its laws so that we can protect our environment from any harmful effects from human rapid development in order to make this world more convenience and comfortable to live.

It is importance for all of us as human being to have a good knowledge and better understanding about the environmental laws so that we can avoid any work against the laws, thus provide environmental protection as efficiently as possible for the sake of our children and generations in future. 

 So in conclusion, everyone need to learn environmental law as it provide us the knowledge of environmental protection by analyzing the problems during the design for example air pollution and climate change will help to keep our environment sustainable and healthy. The greener the environment, the healthier us can be. The key to greener planet is in your hand!

As human population grows larger, more resources are being consumed everyday and wastes are produced. This phenomenon will eventually lead to serious environmental problems and Earth will no longer be suitable for living of future organisms. Hence, we as future engineers has to start considering for sustainable living, which is to avoid severe damage to natural resources and environment while being able to survive comfortably on the Earth. Therefor, environmental laws are important to act as a guideline and a tool to control human activities. It is important for employers and employees working in various industry to take the responsibilities to practise sustainable living for our future generations.

Environmental law can be defined as a collective term describing the network of treaties, statutes, regulations, common and customary laws addressing the effects of human activity on the natural environment. So it covers a broad range of activities that affect air, water, land, flora or fauna.

In my opinion, the importance for learning environmental law as engineer was to help to understand more about the importance of our environment hence prevent them to do any human activities that can give harm to the environment and can maintain it sustainability. 

In my point of view, a future engineer should be educated with environmental protection and environmental law so that they have the awareness on their responsibility to protect our environment and maintain its sustainability. It is vital for an engineer to understand that they do not only need to be equipped with professional knowledge such as Sciences and Mathematics. Engineering also requires a good understanding on the role as an engineer in society as they are the one who deal with sciences and technologies and the environment indirectly. 

On top of that, an effective environmental laws will help to ensure the environment and the economy are equally protected and promoted. In the other words, environmental laws make sure that companies or industries make the best use of the resources on earth and cause the least harm to our environment. Therefore, I think that is the reason why a future engineer should learn environmental protection and environmental law. Thank you!

Greetings to all the readers who are reading this, I am Jen Yu, a 3^rd year undergraduate who is still in the pursuit of degree certificate in electronic engineering. 

To my personal insight, learning does not help much in raising awareness within the deep souls of the mankind, it is just a rudimentary mean to get them perceive the worldwide affairs, after all. Without a shadow of doubt, no easy task it is to create awareness and consciousness of the need to conserve this precious motherland. 

By my concern, there is one and only way to achieve this grandiose summit. It is vitally important to realise the passion that everyone should conceive, that is the passion to cherish every moment with the nature. It is undeniable that the institution of stringent legislation works partially, but the scheme that works in a long-term way is by creating a solidarity of all to endeavor a better nature, a better world.

Environmental law is the laws that regulate the impact of human activities on the environment. Environmental law covers a broad range of activities that affect air, water, land, flora or fauna. In my opinion, learning the environmental law is very important. This is because learning the environmental law can raise our awareness towards the environment. We can know the cause of each pollutions and we can control or prevent the emission of the pollutants to the environment. This can help to keep the environment clean and preserve the ecosystem.

In Malaysia, the enforcement of the environmental law is not strong. As we know, there are many rivers in Malaysia are polluted. Action must be taken to prevent the pollution become worse.

As a future engineer, who will be involved in inventing new technologies, i think engineers should pay more attention on how to preserve our environment when we are planning the projects. We should know how to get things done without harming the earth. We should take environmental protection laws as guidelines for monitoring purpose.

As conclusion, i would say that environmental law is a guideline for us to understand the earth better and saving it for the future generations, we do not want the earth to be worse. Let's take initiatives to save our Earth from now!

In my opinion, the importance of learning environment protection and its law is to increase the awareness in earth protection. As an engineer, we may involve in many activities which will give impact to the surrounding environment, for example, setup a new factory plant or design a new product. Thus, knowledge in environment protection is essential for us to reduce negative impacts to environment, achieve sustainability and avoid violation against the environmental law.

It is indisputable that emerging technologies and industry has led to depletion of resources, an upsurge of pollutants and deterioration of environmental quality as well as health of living organisms. Hence, protecting the environment is the obligation for everyone, and there should be no exception for engineers. In my opinion, by learning about the environment protection, causes of the pollution can be determined, allowing suitable preventive measures and solutions like proper waste disposal, as well as recycling can be proposed to retrieve the situation. Besides, learning the environment law can be used as a guideline so that every action taken is well - considered to avoid any harm to be happened to our mother nature.

In addition, engineers are the frameworks of the country. In each aspect of any sector, engineers have their own roles. So a knowledge about the environmental laws will ensure their decisions to be judicious for the environment.

Before becoming aware of the impact of human behaviour on the environment, technology developments did not consider the social, economic, and environmental impacts on natural systems. 

The future is likely to see more technological development, population growth and a greater need for enough food for our growing population, housing and facilities to cater to our growing needs, new farming methods and so on. These are likely to see more areas needing management to avoid pollution or ecological damage; we will see new potential contaminants as well as a need to change conditions in some areas to cope with the changing climate. There will be an even greater need for environmental engineers to help us deal with the potential problems that this future will bring. 

As an engineer, we design and manufacture solutions to overcome problems faced in our daily lives and improve our quality of living. While we enjoy the technological advances provided by inventors, scientist and engineers, those creations will have a negative impact on the environment such as pollution. A damaged environment not only becomes an eyesore to the people, it will also bring serious repercussions to the environment and ultimately will affect health of living beings living on it. 

Hence, it is important for us to learn about the environmental protection and its laws to better care about our environment and understand what activities will harm the environment and affect the quality of living beings in it. We also able to understand the acceptable practices and standard operating procedures when dealing with wastes and pollutions. We should also understand that our actions today may not affect us in the short term, but will significantly affect our future generations. 

Besides, it is also important for us to understand that law does not exist solely for punishing those who violate the law, but to establish standards, maintain order, resolve disputes, and protect liberties and rights. Hence, we would think twice before violating any laws besides environmental laws.

Environment is very important for us to protect. Therefore by learning environmental laws it will gives us a guide on how to protect our environment. Without this law people can easily pollute the environment and will not take this pollution problem as a serious problem. 

The fast-moving wheels of development all around the world has given a bad impact on our lovely Mother Earth. Have you ever think of our coming generation? They have the rights to breathe clean air, to have a supply of wholesome drinking water and to be protected against the harmful effects of things like waste or chemicals. Learning of the environmental protection and taking the black and white into actions not only secures the beauty and healthy of the environment at this moment, but also passes down it to the youngsters as it is what they deserve. 

From my point of view, the law itself is not only a tool used to control the owner of industries but also every single of us. It keeps reminding us how important the sustainability of environment is for a better tomorrow and guide us in recovering the environment as well. Without the laws, none of us will realise that the environment is getting sick and unable to afford any destroy anymore.

Next, the environmental protection law gives an understanding to people how making the environment safe and clean so that the future life can still enjoy the fresh air. We don't want polluted environment! Save the world!

Effective environmental  laws can control the companies  that cause environmental harm and make the best use of resources.  Laws also make sure these companies are the ones paying the costs of preventing or repairing damage to the environment, rather than downloading them to taxpayers as clean-up costs or healthcare expenses. In short, regulation forces companies to take care of the environment as part of the price of doing business. Environmental laws will be guidelines in monitoring toxic contamination, preventing oil spills, sustaining fisheries’ resources, creating national parks, or protecting ecosystems and species from extinction.

 Lastly, the authorities should use its power and laws to promote healthy environments, people and economies by providing numerous solutions from identifying the correct scientific or technical method for reducing or eliminating a problem to environment. And take legal action to sanction those who cause pollution or a nuisance. 

Nowadays, sustainability is now a big priority for countries worldwide. We as a part of community also have a right to take action for projects that could hurt our environment in the short or long term. 

For me,Environmental protection can be defined as the prevention to conserve and preserve the standard healthy level of environmental media by reducing the production of pollutants. Firstly, the environmental pollution is one of the main  importance of learning about the environmental protection and laws. Next, environmental protection should be implemented due to warm climate changes and flood which heighten the risks of spread out pests and vector diseases. 

In my opinion,we as a human being and future engineer especially, it is important for us to learn about the environmental protection and its law so that we can avoid the negative effect to the mother nature. We need a healthy environment in order to survive. We need to protect the environment now to help prevent health problems, to maintain the ecosystem and to preserve the Earth for our children. Taking the responsibility to protect the Earth will ensure our next generation can witness the beauty of nature and have a better world to live in. If we are not protect our environment, it will continue to get worse and new generation will suffer the consequences.

Learning of Environmental protection and law is important because this is to overcome overcoming environmental problems arising. Environment protection and law has to be educated towards the public to create or spread the awareness of prtotecting the environment.
