improper food handling, cooking, or storage allows harmful bacteria, viruses, and parasites to grow, leading to food borne illnesses (food poisoning ) with symptoms like nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, cramps, fever, or headache, and in severe cases, can cause dehydration, kidney failure, paralysis, or even death, especially in vulnerable groups ( kids, elder , immunocompromised ). Even food looks, smells , or taste fine, dangerous germs can still cause illness with symptoms appearing from 20 minutes to weeks later.

Michelle

You need to make sure your area is clean, you have your utensils you need. You need separate knives and cutting boards for meat and vegetables. You don’t use the same knife when cutting meat and vegetables as it can spread contamination and spread germs. Once you are done, you clean your area and do your dishes.

Colleen
