         <description><![CDATA[<div>Species used:<br>Dogs<br>Ferrets<br>Rats<br><br>History:<br>Dogs, rats and ferrets have all been used for hunting purposes. Some dogs were originally used for herding livestock and still are today. As breeds have developed each have specialised for a certain purpose. German Shepard’s are used as police dogs, border collies are used for herding etc. Ferrets and rats are not so much used today but when they are it is still mainly for hunting.&nbsp;<br><br>Unusual examples:<br>Narwhals are used by scientist to help track global warming in the artic.<br>Tame cheetah have been used by humans to track down prey. </div>]]></description>
