Among the listed problems – stray dogs, pollution of streets, parks and public areas, lack of traffic lights on pedestrian crossings – they decided to tackle with drugs and alcoholism.

According to the curriculum, students are required to create a class study. Field work means gathering data in the local community, interviews with local inhabitants and representatives of local authorities, as well as material gathering (press clippings, Internet resources, etc.).

Measures which need to be taken made on the basis of students’ findings are: lectures for local inhabitants, showing fewer advertisements for alcohol drinks, cigarettes and energy drinks, more severe control of selling these products to minors and engaging sportsmen and sportswomen on promoting healthy life styles.
