IT'S OK - but, get experience and try out different things to see what you do enjoy. You'll have A LOT of spare time, more than you'll ever probably have at another time in your life, and sitting on your arse eating maggie's noodles watching Hollyoaks omnibus (guilty!) wont help you make any life-affirming decisions. Neither will consuming several Corp quad-vods on a Wednesday night,

There is are SO many different things to do!' and from then on just thought general news was the most exciting thing ever, now my favourite thing is hard news in print (after trying out TV, feature writing, a bit of radio too). I really wish I had tried harder to join in first year, and even though it's early start thinking about volunteering or doing work experience placements. Most grad jobs want a year's experience! Crazy. 

Also don't spend all your student loan at Meadowhall's student night, you will regret it! Have fun, make loads of friends and enjoy every moment.
