The pros (the good thing) about distance learning is that you'll learn more if you cannot or if the school is closed for serious reasons, another good thing about it is that there are cratetive ways to learn online. the cons (the bad things) about distance learning is that for teachers is that they always have to mute everyone if there is to much noise, for example, (to much talking, loud music playing, bad chatting, etc) the other cons about distance learning is that friends are missing each-other, (true fact: there are more cons then pros when it comes to learning online.) some parents say that the online learning is stressing their kids to much, others say that "its good to keep yours and our kids to be online educated too!" some other parents say "why online school?" school districts says that there are reasons to learn online. Everyone can have a hard time during distance learning, teachers, students, and even parents can have a lot of trouble at this time, so it is important to work  together. For students, it can be hard because you have to stay focus, which could be hard to do at home because at home there could  be distractions (babies,tv,pets,etc.). Kids might miss each other and get lonely. This can lead to lack of work and failing grades.
    My point of view about distance learning it is easier to do your work at home because there less people to bother you. At my school we us something called zoom for us to see each other. When I do my work at home it is easier because it is not timed by period but day by day, which means that you have all day to do your work. What I do is when I start my work I do everything that is easy first then I do thing that is hard. 
       My point of view about distance learning is that it can be hard for people, but it is easy for me. According to the text it states," As of Monday afternoon, 35 states, including Washington, had mandated school closures in an effort to slow the spread of the virus; at least 35.9 million children are now displaced from their classrooms, according to a tally by Education Week". This evidence shows that schools needed to us distance learning because of the 

coronavirus. In the text it also states, "They got some quick training, mostly in tools like Google Docs and the videoconference platform Zoom, Brittell said". This is an example about what I do when I do school work at home. This is my point of view about distance learning.

        The reason having distance learning is good(pros) because It prepares us for college and high school. For example, my brother told me that "Distance learning is a good way to learn for high school because it helps you to be organized and more responsible." This goes to show how having Distance learning is a pro because it helps us for the future because it makes us 6th graders prepared for high school and more organized and responsible for our work/assignments.Another example is it will help us for college because y brother also told me that it helps us for college because in college our assignments are going to be online and some teachers will dot there lesson online and give us test and some colleges do these things. This is why distance learning is a pro because it helps us be ready for college because we are going to have the experience and know many things and be ahead of some students and know how to use the technology.
    A con of distance learning is that some apps are slow and don't work and can't work how we want it to. For example google classroom over this past week I had so much issues and couldn't use it because it was running slow and it always crashes. This is why virtual learning is a con because some apps won't work because the app is running slow and reduces the learning for us students and can't learn properly and sometimes you can receive zeros because you couldn't login and teachers will mark your work missing and make your grade go down. Another app is Zoom because we can't learn like we are in school becasue some kids don't mute their mic and it creates a lot of background noise which will effect the lesson of the teacher and  effects the  learning of the students. This is why having Distance learning is a con because we can't learn like we learn in school.
    To sum up everything having Distance learning is a pro and con experience because of these reasons. It helps us for the future for high school. It helps us for College because we will have the experience of distance learning.
Also why is a con because of the apps. Google classroom and zoom crash and is hard to learn because of the noise and the app crashing.

Distance learning is leaning online or leaning from video call. Distance learning might make it hard for parents sometimes and it might be stressful for them. Lots of kids have different opinions of what they think online school is like. Online school sometimes makes it hard for students. Some students don’t like distance learning. Students who participate in this have pros and cons about their experience.

One problem many students may have is not staying focus on their school work. For example “Not every child has a parent or a caregiver available to keep them on task”.This shows how not all parents are available to help their kids keep on track.Additionally, “and the online approach wasn’t able to meet the needs of all students”.This shows how not all students meet their needs.This is one problem many students have.

Another problem is students have to learn outside of a classroom. For example “some students learn best in a classroom with social opportunities and academic help from fellow students and an instructor available to answer questions directly”.This shows how some students best learn in a classroom.Additionally, “For these students a self directed online learning format may prove challenging”.This shows how it may be challenging for students to go are not used to online class. This is another problem many students have.

This is why technology also has pros to it.

   To add on, however online learning may have pros but there is also some cons about online learning. One of the cons of online learning is when you have to do video conferences. Because the teacher has to tell children's to mute their microphone. According, the article by Erin Einhorn it states's "They have to constantly tell the kids to mute their microphones . So the teacher can be heard over the chorus of kids". This evidence show's that the teacher probably can't get anything done over it. Another con of online learning is teacher's using different platforms. According to the the article it states's "There have been technical hiccups with teacher's using different platforms that required different logins and passwords". This evidence show's that kids might not be able to do their homework to. Because then they wouldn't know what to do. This is why there are cons to for online learning.  

  To conclude there is pros and cons about distance learning.  But there are more cons to online learning.  It depends on that person one of the cons is video conferences.  But however people might think it has pros to one of the pro is even if you don't have access to technology.  You shouldn't worry because the school can give you one.
