Electric tooth brushes vs disposable ones

Every morning I used to wake up and use a disposable toothbrush, which can so easily be swapped with a disposable one. I have started using an electric one because 1 billion plastic/disposable toothbrushes are thrown out yearly. Using a disposable one will reduce waste is also better for you and will make your teeth cleaner.

Currently, I wake up every day and put on deodorant used in a plastic container that isn't recyclable. These can be harmful to humans because you rub deodorant-containing microplastics that contain toxic substances and come from oil. So instead you can use a deodorant like Biork. Biork uses a cork container made from corks that are recycled. It's known as a plastic-free deodorant.

I use plastic water bottles every single day at school and we also sell plastic water bottles at school. We can also switch to a 0-waste lunch at school use metal utensils and sell reusable water bottles. Although many people have metal reusable water bottles as a better option they still choose to buy plastic ones. This is usually laziness. 1 million plastic water bottles are purchased in the U.S. every minute just in the U.S. and this is a real problem.

Why do pencils need to come in the traditional wood all the time? Sometimes the pencil can become so damaged it cannot be easily recycled. We can also upcycle. The pencils I'm showing you right here are made out of newspaper. This shows you that everyday products. That you may throw out can become something like a pencil. Newspaper pencils are also recyclable, unlike normal pencils.

Everyday I go to school, I see these lunch trays being thrown away when we could just easily use reusable wooden lunch trays. They are reusable and decompose faster then the plastic or Styrofoam options of lunch trays. You can also easily use the wooden lunch tray in different ways instead of throwing it out and is more durable and will last longer because it is made out of wood.

I think switching from our very wasteful lunch that we currently have in our lunchroom. We could instead of keeping something like carrots in a plastic package we could just serve them in a buffet style way. But a 0 waste lunch just means there is no one time use items being thrown out after one use. If we started using this style and developed on the idea. I think we could switch to a 0 waste lunch in no time.

I've been playing and watching soccer my entire life and I have never heard of an ocean plastic soccer jersey before I took this class. I saw the idea of it and wondered why we don't do this more often with clothing. Instead of buying a normal soccer jersey I could instead buy this one. This soccer jersey comes from plastic that is washed up in the ocean and not only this saves animals it also can create a product like this.

The Pela phone cases is the same quality comes in the same colors as an Otterbox. But since these phone cases are made out of flax straw and bioplasticelastomer. It can easily break down.
