Johnson was the one behind this plan.<br><strong>What:</strong> This plan was the U.S launch to be involved in the Vietnam War. Two U.S battleships named U.S.S Maddox and U.S.S Turner Joy helped the south Vietnamese soldiers raid the North Vietnamese coast. <br><strong>When: </strong>The attacks occurred on August 2nd and August 4th, 1964<br><strong>Where:</strong> The U.S arrived in the Gulf of Tonkin, which is located in waters that separate Vietnam from the Chinese island of Hainan.</div>]]></description>

They were ordered to destroy anyone there. The towns people looked like the soldiers and the U.S soldiers killed Men, Women, and children. More then 500 people were killed during the time of the event. <br>When: The attack took place on March 16, 1968<br>Where: The village of My Lai, located in Quang Ngai province.</div>]]></description>

         <title>Tet Offensive</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Who: </strong>The North Vietnamese soldiers were involved in the attacks.<br><strong>What: </strong>The Viet Cong had cordinated a series of attacks on south Vietnamese outposts and cities. The Viet Cong went to 100 cities and outposts. There plan was to encourage the U.S involvement in the war and to step back away from it. The U.S and South Vietnamese soldiers held back there attacks, but slowly the U.S was forced out of the region. <br><strong>When: </strong>The first attacks took place on January 30th, 1968. <br><strong>Where: </strong>This was located all around south Vietnam.</div>]]></description>
