         <description><![CDATA[<p>1) Group members: Atreyu Sharma &amp; Maria Cervantes</p><p>2) Goal: The Goal of our program is to reduce the incidence of E-Bike accidents in the city of Long Beach. </p><p>3) Objectives:</p><ul><li><p>By the end of the first 6 months of the program, program staff will deliver a 45-minute e-bike safety education workshop to at least 80% of middle school students aged 11-14 in participating schools across Long Beach Unified School District. (Process)</p></li><li><p>By the end of the year all adolescents will use protective gear when using their e-bikes (if they still choose to use them). (Environmental)</p></li><li><p>When asked in class, at least 85% of the students will be able to list and identify three key e-bike safety practices. Goals &amp; Objectives</p><p><br/></p><p>1. Name of group: UWWP Universal Workplace Wellness Program for Early Career Nurses&nbsp;</p><p>2. Group members: Natalia Samora, Breena Oyola, Alekzandra Peters&nbsp;</p><p>3. Goal: the goal of the UWWP is to improve physical, mental, and environmental wellbeing of early career and student nurses by reducing burnout, improving health behaviors, and increasing access to wellness resources within the workplace through workplace and insurance company partnerships.&nbsp;</p><p>4. Objective #1 (Process Objective): During the first 6 months, we will have more than 100 nurses enroll and participate to create a supportive and healthy work environment by encouraging healthy lifestyle choices, implementing strategies to reduce stress, and promote mental well being.</p><p>5. Objective #2 (Learning Objective):by the end of the first 6 months of the program implementation, at least 75% of participating nurses will demonstrate increased knowledge of stress management, sleep hygiene, and sleep practices, as measured by pre and post checks through program surveys.&nbsp;</p><p>6. Objective #3 (Behavioral Objective): By the end of the program, nurses will be able to effectively adapt and continue their ability to get monthly physical checks by 30% as measured by a post intervention survey.&nbsp;</p><p>7. Objective #4 (Outcome Objective): after one year of program implementation, participating nurses will report a 20% reduction in self-reported burnout and stress levels, measured by using a validated workplace wellness survey.&nbsp;</p>]]></description>

Goal: The goal of this program is to reduce the rate of high school teenage pregnancy by providing sexual health educational classes that will teach teens about contraceptives and reproductive health.</p><p><br/></p><p>4. Objectives: </p><ul><li><p>Process: At the start of the program, students will participate in an anonymous single step survey to test their knowledge of sexual health.&nbsp;</p></li><li><p>Learning: Teens will be tested on their knowledge on pregnancy prevention through the post survey, at least 80% should demonstrate improvement from the initial pre test.</p></li><li><p>Environmental: At the end of the process, the program can partner with 1 school and 1 clinic that is cost-effective for students.</p></li><li><p>Outcome: Within five years after the initiation of the program, the teen pregnancy rate decreases by at least 15% compared to baseline rates prior to the start of the program.&nbsp;</p></li></ul>]]></description>

(Learning)</p></li><li><p>By the end of the six month Beach Mental Wellness Intervention Program, 80% of college students at CSULB will practice at least one stress management technique (e.g mindfulness activities) at least 3 times per week to improve stress levels reflected on post surveys. (Behavioral) </p></li><li><p>CSULB will increase access to mental health supportive environments by providing at least 3 campus spaces for wellness or stress-relief activities such as a relaxation room, an outdoor wellness event or a mindfulness area accessible to students during the semester.
