I also believe that I have very strong standards of professional citizenship and responsibility that I can teach and model for my students. One experience that will help me do this, in addition to my general digital experiences, is my experience as an implementation specialist for a healthcare software company. Working in software development and implementation in a corporate/professional context has helped me see how to effectively use digital tools and digital communications in different contexts and for many different purposes and goals. This will help me teach my students how to use digital communications appropriately and more effectively for particular goals.

In order to achieve this standard, I need to become much better acquainted with different and more contemporary digital tools and resources that I can incorporate into my students' learning experiences. I believe that I can meet this standard in a big-picture/high-level sense at present, but that I would currently struggle to figure out which specific tools to use for which lessons and how to use them most effectively.
