Your personal group tutor will join you and be present for any question and help you with technical know-how

·     30 Min for each group

·     5 minutes viewing the film  on Vimeo  and AR
- 10  min presentation for each group at the start one after the other

·      Group 15 minute feedback  from everyone

·       (Please have one person in each group keeping track of the time so we don’t go over time)

·       Please be prepared with the film link to share and a 5 minute presentation. Look at the artist statement and the director statement examples to help you.

·       Practice your presentation

·       Download the press kit to fill it and copy it into the Vimeo description. Write the artist statement will help you present the film.

·       What choices have the filmmaker done to approach the concept of graffiti? Political, observational, emotional, comical, spiritual, historical , philosophical or something else. 

·       Does the film unite or separate the different animator? Do they feel part of the same work or are they joined like a collage? Does it feel made by one person, by a group, together or separately?

·       What is the main focus of the film: a body part, a uniforming characteristic, a location, an event or time, something else altogether? 

·       What visual tool of representation have the filmmakers used SPACE, DISTANCE, SIZE, MATERIAL, METAPHORS, EMOTIONS, MIMIC, MEMORY OPPOSITE, MAGIC, EXTRA REALISM, TIME, TOUCH … something else?

·       Is the focus on visuals or voices or sound, what drives the film,? Does it feel like an opinion, a story, or a documentary, and why?

·       What did the film make you feel? What is the feeling you receive from this film?

·       Do you feel you learnt something about the people portrayed? Do you feel you know them a little more? If yes why and if not why?

·       Any other question  or reflection is welcomed as this is just a starting point…
