For the soundtrack of the app I chose a dreamy fairytale feel phrase with a big reverb piano as the main tone and a toy marimba as the main melody, as all my color schemes and app styles are full of childishness I went along with this style in terms of music. However, as my app is geared towards people with anxiety, I put a lot of effort into the choice of underpinning instruments during the arrangement process - as the piano is a percussive instrument with too heavy a head, it has the potential to exacerbate anxiety. I also tried soothing strings, but the high frequency parts of the strings were too sharp and not conducive to relaxation in terms of listening. I ended up with a tone that had a comfortable range in terms of reverb and space, and I adjusted the head of the tone so that the piano played slowly like a string. At the same time it occurred to me that sand, a common prop in counselling rooms, is also useful for emotional relief, so I laid down regular sand hammering sounds throughout the piece.

When creating the special audio for the comfort mode, I kept the specially adapted piano and added many sound samples. To simulate the sounds a fetus would hear in the womb, I sampled a heartbeat, a woman whispering, singing a lullaby and laughing, as well as some underwater bubbles and the sound of water flowing. For the heartbeat section, as the target was an anxiety sufferer, I did not directly use the long audio of the heartbeat sampled by others, as most people's heartbeats are irregular and move relatively fast, and although the maternal blood flow that can in fact be felt in the womb is not slow, my goal was to be soothing and too fast to be relaxing for the patient, so I sampled only a single heartbeat and made instrument and played it slowly to the rhythm of the piano. A woman whispering, singing and laughing was used to simulate a mother outside the womb, the main aim being to create a reassuring and happy atmosphere. It is worth noting that in order to simulate a baby's inability to understand speech and to prevent the content of the whispers from affecting the brains of anxiety sufferers, I have eliminated almost all frequencies above 300 Hz, keeping only the bone-conduction-like booming low frequencies and some of the mid frequencies to make sure that the dialogue can be heard without being discernible.
