A group of Australian scientists going to enjoy Spanish gastronomy.

Me and my group of scientists were preparing our suitcases to go on a trip to Spain.

We were all looking at what to pack in our suitcases, one of the scientists was married and has 2 children´s so he was carrying children´s things.

Once the suitcases were ready, it was time to head to the airport.

First problems

Ready to leave the house, we recieved a notification on our cell phones alerting us to hurricanes in the area.

We all lived in Byron Bay, a city frequented by hurricanes.

After leaving the hurricane bunker the flight was delayed for whole day.

The airline company changed the flight date to the next day, it was good news.

The next day we went to the airport, we had the flight at 7:40 p.m., we arrived at 4:oo p.m. with time to check-in the suitcases.

Once we had the bags checked, we proceeded to check-in and passed the security check, until then everything was line.

Half hour after passing the check, the airport informed us that all flights to Spain were delayed until further notice.

A hacker broke into the control tower system and took the flight system down.

It was already the second problem we did not come out of our astorishment.

we nad to wait for the error to be resolved, we waited several hours.

It was around 9:00 p.m. when they tod us that they had already solved the failure in the system.

We went to the outgoing flights panel, looked for our flight number and saw that boarding the plane was at 9:30 p.m.,

so we hurried to get to the boarding gate, which was B11.

Once we got on the plane, we were finally able to relax, even the children fell asleep.

Hours later we landed in Tarragona.

Once all the plane, We proceeded to collect our suitcases.

Once we had our suitcases, we went in the direction of taxis.

Since we were 8 people, we had to wait for a taxi with 8 scats to arrive.

We were all very happy "We said finally in Spain".

We arrived at the hotel we had reserved, it was 9: 37 a.m. if my memory serves me correctly.

The first thing we did, and i think it is more than obvious, was to try that famous Spanish omelette, and wow it was delicious!! even the children liked it.

Once happy with the breakfast, it was time for the first excursion and like good scientists we visited the National Archaeological museum of Tarragona.

The next day we decided to go to ponent beach.

After a couple hours we decided to leave.

when i was picking up my things i realized that i couldn´t find my wallet worried, we called the mosso d`Esquadra.

between us and the mosso d`Esquadra, we found the thief and so we recovered the wallet.

Back to Byron bay.

After three more days, it was time to return to Australia the holidays were over.

Everyone was at home, talking about everthing that happend and we agreed that it was an unforgettable experience "and we all laughed".
