         <title>For drug interactions for warfarin, we have drugs that increase and drugs that decrease anticoagulant effects. My question is, can both be there since they are opposites.</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>From Professor Siwula:<br>Yes, both interactions can occur depending on the drug that is interacting with warfarin! For example, Vitamin K intake may decrease the effects of warfarin (therefore consistency in intake of vitamin K is important in order to adjust the warfarin dose appropriately), and amiodarine may increase the INR significantly requiring a decrease in warfarin dosage.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>You would need to see your healthcare provider (HCP)! If the HCP suspects a blood clot, a test/tests would be ordered to rule out a clot (ultrasound, etc.). The treatment determination would then be made.</div>]]></description>
