I've learnt that to be a great leader, I can never give up and that I have to put myself in someone else's situation. He's taught me, to be a great leader I have to use my voice to stand up for what's right.

He showed that when you really want something never give up. You need to stand up for it. He showed that everybody is equal and to be a great leader you have to treat everybody equally.

Listening to his story makes me think of the saying , that doing what is right is not always easy.

I think of how he could have left South Africa after being released, instead he chose to stay and help make his country a better place.

Nelson Mandela stood up for the African people, and their rights. He was behind bars for 27 years and still after that he kept on fighting until the problem was resoveld .
