Dear Lizzie,
You are an all-star instructor and it has been incredible to get to know you this year. You always knew how to adjust class for us and I personally appreciate how approachable you were since day one of the fall semester. Thank you for being real, being funny, and constantly supportive of my learning and our entire history cohort. Cohort 5 history students will be incredibly lucky to have you. Thank you for absolutely everything you've done this year.

It has been a blast working with you and learning from you this last year. I was impressed by the ways you balanced teaching of serious and important topics with your great sense of humor. Your support this year will surpass time and space for me. From your approach to historical thinking skills as well as the way in which you facilitate learning of complex concepts. I have never really had a "mentor" in this history field and you certainly are a prime example of one. You truly helped me pout my ideas into action that is accessible and meaningful for my students, and I cannot thank you enough for being a model of this.
