What would you do differenlty?

Conduct a protocol like creative dna to find out how to best group kids for the following days/ following protocols.

"They had great ideas! It was so fun to see how creative they were. We have lots of thinking to do!

Liam: "My favorite part of camp was being able to pick out what we get to put there (at the park)."

Jaxon " My favorite part was all the uses of our creativity and the uses that it had, and the fun it was to be here at the park."

The NUFF test was an enjoyable experience. It was fun hearing kids give each other a rating and their reasoning behind it.

What surprised you?

Some of the more quiet kids generated unique and interesting ideas.

What would you do differently?

Next time, I'd give the kids more time to share more of their ideas. We were on a time crunch so we only had kids share one of their ideas and then we narrowed it down from those 10.

We interviewed each child, celebrated their favorite part, and wishes for next year.

How capable the younger children were at completing the protocols.

What would you do differenly?

Separate kids who are too comfortable around others like siblings so they can come out if their shella little and collaborate with new people.

It really helped to reflect. Some kids were not on track with the rest of us. Checking in helped get everyone focused in on our problem.

Check in at the end of every day so that kids can be on track the whole time.

Kids did a great job of revising their ideas. They were not stuck on one single solution and were flexible to come up with something different.

What surprised you?

Some ideas were very out there in terms of creativity. Some ideas were predictable and feasible. It was a nice range of ideas generated.

What would you do differently next time?

Have more time to critique and give feedback to more of their solutions.

I was surprised how the kids locked in for the final presentation, they were a bit squirrelly during practice but then they got it together for the final.
