  • students participating in planning and decision making will also need to be a consideration  - student empowerment of choice and voice sometimes gets over-ruled by curriculum requirements (though both can live comfortably together- it can be challenging for some educators new to the programme to get their heads around).
  • communication and collaboration with the wider school community - authentic opportunities need to be explored to ensure ownership of decisions made.
