This is meant to show the theme of Drug/ substance abuse , desire and pain. Likewise how it can effect people. The movement for this scene is meant to be stylised and move with a sense of purpose while traveling through the space. However as movement director and being a performer I have reviewed this scene and the reason I think it is not working is because the movements are not in sync with the words “select/ delete. The whole objective is to have the movement accompany the words and have an effect. Thus we need to focus on the words “select/ delete “ these words are constant and have a consistent rhythm to them. Likewise are movement needs to be Constant and constant. I think are movements should be the same , sharp and sustained. But to add dimension to the movement the dynamic can changed each time from heavy to light , sharp to floppy , forceful to soft.
