This type of dancing is very expressive, through mimicry and eye movements. 

• A lot of Balinese dances are dynamic and also in harmony with the music of the Balinese gamelan.
• The legs are usually open and low. But in some dances they are straight. 
• The arms are usually open and lifted slightly.

One Bali technique includes kecak which is imitating the sound of monkeys. 

Costumes include ; torso wrapped in a gold sash , their lower half is wrapped in cloth down to their ankles, also in some dances the females arms and shoulders are covered.
