This shows that it does not support the claim because the population wasn't stable and we can infer that the population decrease was to the small beak finches dying of starvation and the small increase was from natural selection making larger beaks more common.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The migration theory would not be supported in this case because most likely the same amount of birds would fly back to the galapagos islands. Also we don't know where the finches would have migrated to (if they did migrate) that would cause their beak size to increase in the population. Therefore elimination has been eliminated as an option for where the birds went.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The small birds did end up dying because they were unable to eat the Tribulus seeds. The birds with small beaks would end up facing beak damage or jaw dislocation at the attempt of trying to eat the tribulus seeds.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The finches that ended up surviving through the drought were the ones that would have passed on the  large beak trait down to their offspring and slowly through the population proving that natural selection passed on the large beak trait.</div>]]></description>
