When reading a chapter in my book, I came across a passage where Reynie was writing a letter describing that Miss Perumal was the only family that he had. In the letter, Reynie wrote "At least I had you, Miss Perumal, if only for a while. Maybe you weren't my family, but you were the closest thing I had.." I can't imagine not having a mom, dad and siblings. On Page 272 the children just got done reading all of Mr Curtain entries about his plans and how he brain wash people. When reading the entries Reynie realized that some people were loading crates on the dock. The children figured that what every was in the crates must be important to Mr Curtain. They decided that it would be a good idea if they spied or took a peek at crates the next day. The chapter started with children taking a quiz in class. Sticky was scratching  an itching ear when the executive Jillson grabbed Sticky's hand and accused him of cheating. Jillson took Sticky off to the Waiting Room. The other remaining behind asked what is the Waiting Room. One of the children said Its a "Very unpleasant place where you go when your waiting to meet with Mr Curtain." When looked into the gym from the back window he saw two lines of recruiters standing back to back down the length of the gym floor. each recruiter faced some type of cut out figure. The recruiters adopted different poses as if they were in a dance. Reynie could see that recruiters were preparing for something, but what? In the next chapter called the "Waiting Room", Sticky finally returned back to his and Reynie's dorm room. He was covered in slimy black stinking mud and he  looked like a zombie. Reynie knew that his friend was close to breaking down. He told Sticky that he was going to be okay, because he was stronger then he thought. Reynie convinced Sticky not to run away because they really needed him. Reynie swore that Sticky would not have to go back to the waiting room because he had a plan.
