No. Remaining on the ASX runs directly counter to the Broncos’ core mission (stated in the reference information and report) as Queensland’s community rugby club—in both strategy and culture.

The public-listing framework forces a relentless focus (an impeded mindset) on quarterly cash flows, dividend expectations and regulatory compliance, which does the following to the overall culture and its structure;

Dilutes grassroots culture - Community clinics, junior programs and fan-focused events become line items in a profit-and-loss statement rather than genuine expressions of local pride.

(It) Shifts governance away from members - Majority institutional ownership and illiquid trading - freezes out everyday fans, while board seats tilt toward financial experts over community custodians. Illiquid trading makes it near to impossible for anyone in the community / form the public to obtain shares and therefore have voice - much less meaningful voice to shift and impact change where needed (for the community(.

Undermines strategic objectives - Short-term facility upgrades must prove immediate ROI (return on investment); mid-term community support initiatives compete for scarce capital; long-term social and educational programs struggle (or do not occur at all) for funding under dividend-driven mandates.

To realign with their (the Broncos) stated purpose—by nurturing local talent, fostering rugby league at all levels and serving as a true social hub—the Broncos would be better served by delisting.

[Once de-listed] the Broncos club could then be (re)established as a private or member-based structure would restore decision-making to those who live and breathe the club: players, volunteers, families and fans.

Based on the Broncos’ published core mission—1) to foster rugby league, 2) support community engagement, and 3) provide a social and sporting hub for Queenslanders—their ASX listing 'feels' fundamentally misaligned.

The club was built to serve local families, junior players, and lifelong fans, not institutional shareholders or global investors.

(The Bronco's) Their stated long-term objectives speak to 1) cultural enrichment, 2) education, and 3) grassroots development—none of which (will easily) thrive under the pressure of quarterly reporting or dividend expectations required from an ASX listed organisataion.

Financial governance frameworks imposed by public listing dilute the club’s ability to act with flexibility, empathy, and community-first intent.

In my view, as a professional (business leader) who values strategic alignment and cultural integrity, the Broncos’ mission would be better served by stepping away from the ASX and returning to a structure that prioritises Queensland’s rugby community over market performance.

(In my view) that will be how they protect their legacy and ensure their future remains rooted in the people who made the club what it is.
