Those three terms are: Mean, Median, and Mode. <br><br>Today in class, we had a fun time counting the number of colors each group got of the M&amp;M's.          <description><![CDATA[<div>&nbsp; &nbsp; I have provided an Excel spread sheet with all of the numbers for the colors from each group (Below).Your weekend assignment is to find the Mean, Median, and Mode of <em>YOUR </em>group's M&amp;M's. Once you find your answers, write them down in your weekend journal and reflect about your answers.&nbsp;<br><br>Then, combine the groups outcomes of the colors. Find the Mean, Median, and Mode for combined groups outcomes.&nbsp;<br>(HINT: We had 5 groups of 5 people each. Each group had 10 M&amp;M's)&nbsp;<br><br>Once you are done, you can create one of the three graphs: Dot Graph, Bar Graph, or a Pie Chart. You can draw it, create it on Microsoft, etc. but make it presentable and ready to show off in front of the class on Monday!&nbsp;<br><br>I have provide an example of what your charts (and answers) should look like. Have fun! </div>]]></description>

         <title>Mode of a Keyboard? </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Do you ever wonder why the keyboard of a computer is arranged the way it is?&nbsp;<br>Most common keyboard layouts are in the design of QWERTY. Now that just looks like a silly word right, well look down at the top row of your keyboard. It spells QWERTY, weird right?! The keyboard's home row (the middle row) was created by using the most common letters used by the most common words of the English language. So, ASDFGHJKL are the most commonly used letters. Don't you think that we would have to find the&nbsp;<em>mode</em>&nbsp;of all the words used in the English language? Isn't it interesting how most commonly used things that can apply to our math class? </div>]]></description>
