APPARENTLY  During  1827 Algeria was not allowed to trade with any country other than France.  LOL. Algeria also provided so many soldiers for France to fight with them.

they also were owed a huge debt by france which led to them rebelling

they also gained a complex due to the way they were treated after they were colonized

when the ottoman empire feel there was the republic of turkey and there was propaganda from turkey saying they would free muslims from the yoke of the infidel and this gave hope to algeria

i learned that Saad Zaghloul is the guy who influenced Egypt to have its own independence after the first world war because Britain was taking a lot of space and colonised Egypt.
