         <description><![CDATA[<div>-British Government destroyed the economy of Egypt by places heavy taxes and blocking their trade through the Suez canal<br>-They also helped Egypt by claiming them as their protectorate which means they will help them defend and attack during the war and that ended up saving them from being re-captured or recolonized by the Ottoman Empire<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I learned that french influenced algeria's economy so much since the french brought so much from Algeria cheaply , this caused algeria too loose so much money because they were not receiving a lot of money. APPARENTLY&nbsp; During&nbsp; 1827 Algeria was not allowed to trade with any country other than France.&nbsp; LOL. Algeria also provided so many soldiers for France to fight with them.&nbsp;<br><br>IT WAS PART OF THE FRENCH COLONY&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

They were mistreated and robbed by the imperial power that was the British empire. The British were so desperate to hold onto Egypt just for the access of the Suez Canal, other wise they did not care.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
