The Filipino Tradition that we always do it until now is "salu-salo" or the family should need to eat together. We do it every sunday, becasue my aunt and my uncle has no work on that day. My grandmother used to cook delicious dish and something gulaman or graham for the desert. It’s the only time of the day when families can reconnect, and plan, and recharge together.

We always make sure that one from the family member will get marry for that specific year.

The family tradition that we do is every New Year's Eve we will gather all around in our Grandmother's house and we will celebrate it together. We would play games while waiting for the New year and we would exchange gifts. We are also celebrating Fiesta together, here in our place we celebrate it on the first Sunday of May. We also have the tradition of "Pabasa" that we are doing every holy week in March or April.

We have a lot of Filipino Traditions in the family that we follow and still do. One thing is that during birthday and holiday celebrations, we Filipinos are known to be competitive for singing. We have karaoke sessions every time. Aside from singing, we cook Filipino food together and gather to bless the food before eating. We have "salu-salo" during holidays, where we eat and drink together, talking about random stuff and remembering our loved ones who are not with us anymore.

My mother used to cook her delicious rice cake which is “biko”. After eating, we play some games with cash prizes. We spend too much time for this because for us, it is our bonding and everyone are happy and enjoying different games.

My family has a lot of different traditions, but one stands out more than the others. The holiday I am talking about is Christmas. My family has always celebrated Christmas on Christmas Eve. We start the celebration by going to our church’s Christmas Eve service. During this service, we sing Christmas songs and watch a video of the first Christmas. After the service, all my family goes to my grandparents’ house to open presents and have supper. The meal is different than most Christmas meals. All
