Walked my large dog, who is a 145 lbs. Alaskan Malamute (Google it!) across the road to the Saco River (which is no longer frozen over). She ran and splashed and stood chest high in the FREEZING cold water, just taking it all in, probably wondering where all the ice went! It IS a beautiful, calm day. I will be missing each of you, my wonderfully glorious Monhegan and Matinicus Monsters... you know who you are.....(!) until we are together again.
