This is me, Yman, I am 17 and a grade 11 student. I am into a lot of sports, and cars and I am a big music nerd. My media consumption mostly consists of watching or viewing Instagram reels, posts, YouTube videos, listening to albums, and watching movies. I am not the type of person to post or to even take pictures, I don't like to do those in fact this very image is not even taken by me.

Why do I like these media?

Most of what I mentioned are things I've grown up doing, watching, and loving. Such as sports and music, I grew up listening to Queen which branched out to other bands and genres and over time I've naturally just extended my taste in music. Sports on the other hand has always been natural to me I love the thrill of the game whether it's in a fight or a football game or any sport, I just love watching and playing sports. Cars and Gundam's on the other hand are new hobbies I found. I bought a Gundam, built it, and kept it and I like it just scrolling through Instagram to admire Gundam is just a pastime hobby, and it's fun.

How are these media influencing or affecting me? Is this healthy?

I don't think media is influencing me, I think it's my interests that influenced the media I am into. And yes it is healthy because of my interest in sports I get recommended health-related topics. And I do know when to stop using social media I don't live my life behind the computer.
