         <description><![CDATA[<div>6 ways to preserve food is:<br>1. <strong>Drying</strong> the food makes it less tastier for both moisture loving bugs and moisture loving bacteria. <br>2. <strong>Freezing</strong> the food in your freezer can help to keep bacteria away while your not using it. <br>3. <strong>Fermentation</strong> can technically still age or ripen the food but it will do it friendly so it does not harm you when eating the product.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>4. <strong>Acidification</strong>, many foods last longer when dunked in vinegar because it takes away the water moisture and most bugs who want the food, do not like moisture. <br>5. <strong>Root Cellaring</strong> is where you either cover the food in sand or vinegar to keep moisture away. Keep it in a root cellar downstairs or even upstairs and grab the food when you need it. <br>6. <strong>Home-canning</strong> keeps the freshness and peak-harvest flavors on the food. Though if you can it wrong, when you eat it, it can make you and your family very sick.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Norovirus</strong>: People may get this virus by containmenating leafy greens, fresh fruits, shellfish, sometimes even water or touching a germ filled counter. Having norovirus can cause diarrhea, nausea/stomach pain, or even vomiting. There is no well known cure, not even antibiotics can help. All they say is to drink plenty of liquids to make up from lost things from vomiting. <br><strong>Salmonella</strong>: Things that can give you this is eggs, raw or undercooked meat, unpasteurized milk or juice, cheese, raw fruits and vegetables. Some symptoms of salmonella are diarrhea, fever, stomach cramps, and vomiting. There are antibiotics that can help salmonella. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Clostridium perfringens: </strong>Things that can cause this are beef and poultry, especially large roasts, gravies, and dried or precooked foods. Some symptoms of Clostridium are diarrhea, stomach cramps, vomiting and fever(uncommon). Antibiotics are not recommended to use, but you should get plenty of fluids. <strong><br>Campylobacter</strong>: Things that can cause Campylobacter are raw and uncooked poultry or meat, raw milk and contaminated water. Usual symptoms are diarrhea(often bloody), stomach cramps and fever. Antibiotics can help the person with this though.  <br><strong>Staphylococcus aureus: </strong>Things that can cause this are people handling your food and not cooked cheese. Sliced meat, pudding, pastries and sandwiches.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>1. E. coli outbreak ((Romaine Lettuce) - 2018 - The food that was affected was lettuce. The microbe that had caused this was E. Coli. It started on this food in Arizona.&nbsp;It is very bad and there has been a death. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>2. Egg Shells - 2018 - The food that was affected by this outbreak was the shells of eggs. The microbe that has caused this was salmonella. I could not find the place were it started.&nbsp;So far there has been no deaths but 6 people have been hospitalized. </div>]]></description>
