Your project should affect our town a lot, we are hoping for an economic development in the future.
So our children could find  qualified jobs near their home town.
 Hopefully they wont have to leave for a bigger city to find  correct jobs.

I have been part of the environmental protection group for five years, and I think that wildlife must be protected more than anything else.
The project of building a ski resort can't coincide with the current habitat of animals. 
I think that achieving this project would be a mistake, and a proof of human selfishness.

Indeed the resort may be a too big project for our environnement.
But we may find a compromise between saving the environnement and allowing the project by limitating it.

We could try to build it not far from towns, where the civilisation is expending anyway.

And then we could make a VIP ski resort to limit the number of tourists by day. Futhermore the area concerned by the project could be smaller than in the initial project.

The VIP status of the resort could make the other economics actors of the region developed, and the job offers will be increasing.

The locals could have a status of VIP thanks to their proximity with the resort.

As we all know, the earth/environment's health is a major issue. We can't allow a project like this to be built.

The Jumbo glacier is certainly the biggest wildlife area which had not been taken by humans to make profits. And as it is a wildlife area, it is an important shelter for animals such as grizzly bears, it is a major location which can't be erased for profit when the environment is as down as it is now.

The Jumbo ski resort project is a great opportunity for us. Indeed it will create at least hundreds of new jobs.
As a local builder, the work of building lifts and ski slopes will be given to the local population.
Moreover, I promise  to use wood and other eco-friendly materials for the building of houses and constructions, and do the best i can to preserve the nature. I will leave the  inhabitants of Jumbo's mountain alone so they will live like before.

i have been working on this project for 10 years. I have worked hard on it, i don't want it to stop right now. In my opinon this project is a very good oportunity for this place, and the people who live here. 
I'm very upset against the local government. They decided to reject the project, so everything i have done for these last 10 years was useless.

I'm used to climbing and skiing this mountain everyweek, as long as i can remember.
My Father taught me to ski at 5 years old and it's a part of my everyday life. 
I can understand that people from elsewhere want to know what it is to live here, but this Ski Resort project makes me fear of loosing my favorite hobby here.
Also there is no other hobbies in this country... 
If too many people come and the company from the resort doesn't allow young locals like me to ski freely, I don't know what we are going to do after school, it's even too cold here to burn cars...

 I want to say if the project won't be abort, I can train at home all days. And may be Patagonia will triumph for the next Winter Olympics with gold medals thanks to Jumbo Glacier Resort. All the members of my ski team think the same thing and all patriot people should think it too.
Moreover, if I train into the South America wild, my spirits will be better than I train far away home or in ski rooms.

I don't want them to come and invade my territory. I have been living in this wild place for 5 years now and i need to hunt for food. So if they do this project i will have to move and they didn't even think about it. I like the nature in this mountain and being apart from society. This project will just bring more and more people and new projects because some will see the opportunities behind this project. So at first there will be just lifts but then if a lot of people come, businessmen will build hotels, restaurants, and then towns. The project called "Jumbo Glacier Resort" is in contradiction with my tribe's traditions. Purcell mountains are sacred. Indeed there are the lands of my ancestors for generations.

These lands are the inheritance of a culture and a lifestyle. If this project takes place, it would make end the culture of our people.

In fact, this film may give a negative image of British Columbia. There is a real problem between the political actions, which are the development of an all-season ski resort, and the protection of the area. This problem might not be the subject of a movie. People who will see this film will have a wrong opinion of us. It's our responsibility to solve this problem, not that of other people who will hear about it or who have seen the movie. 
To solve this problem, we have to study all the aspects of the project. Certainly, the environment will be afect. The construction of a ski resort will destroy a part of the lanscape and his  attraction. However, the construction of a structure like this will permit a local development and allow job's creation.
