At the beginning of this class. I learned about Moai statues and how they are from an island. At first the scientists believed that the inhabitants had wrapped them with tourniquets. Secondly, others believed they had been dragged with ropes. However, it is not known with certainty how it happened, on the other hand, it is believed that the inhabitants initially created them to represent beliefs or religions. finally. As soon as these statues were created, a few years later people started dying and it is currently unknown how the statues were moved and what they were for.

Today I learned about The Moai Statues and it was good. The first thing I learned about Moai Statues is the island of mystery, it is deep in the south Pacific and called Rapa Nui. Then I learned about a hundred years ago Polynesian came to Rapa Nui, and the 887 has been made as symbols of power and religion. However, scientists found the moai made from stone walls and used tree chunks to move the statues. Moreover, I learned about once there have been 10,000 people on the island and by 1877 only 111 people left. Now thousands of Rapa Nui people are living on the island and Chile today. It was a good read I learned today because I can understand more about Rapa Nui and the Moai Statues.
