Just recently I have quit dance to focus on my swimming career. Dancing really gave me a way to express how I feel and to just let me let go of whatever I have been holding onto during that week. Dancing competitively gave me a chance to show my coaches what i'm really made of. In 2015, I had a unexpected injury. Because of tearing a ligament It forced me to stop dancing, but it didn't stop me completely. I went on to dance for 2 more years after tearing the ligament. Even though I couldn't do most things other dancers could.
