After going undrafted in the 2009 draft, Belcher was signed by the Chiefs as a free agent and worked his way up to being a regular starter during the 2010 season. In 2012, Belcher killed his wife and then himself because of what resaerchers believe to be CTE. His CTE was caused by many years of playing football and taking repeated blows to the head. -DD
