Anna: hey, look at me it’s gonna be fine okay we’ll get your blanket back.

She stops crying for about 2.5 seconds and then continues.

Anna: Dammit Barnes.

He walks in at the exact time and I walk over to him.

Anna: What took so long?!

Bucky: I had to-

Anna: I don’t give a flying fuck, she has been crying for the last 4 hours.

I say seething.

Anna: All because that damn blanket.

Bucky: Well, where is it?

Anna: hell if I knew, she said something about the red room having it, and god knows they’ll destroy any price of comfort they find.

He nods and I glare at him.

Anna: Well why are you still here?

He looks at me confused as I raise an eyebrow at him, suddenly I feel a hand on my leg and hear a sniffle.

Thea: Черная бабочка ( black butterfly)

Anna: hey, little one what is it?

Thea: my ducky,

Anna: yes I know, he’s going to get it.

Bucky: me?

Anna: and it will be here by the end of the day, how does that sound 

She nods sniffling again.

Anna: good now can you wait for me over there and then we’ll go over your letters again.

She smiles a little and moves away I grab Bucky’s arm pulling him close to me I whisper to him 

Anna: find the fucking ducky blanket Barnes, or else.

He nods leaving the room I turn back around and smile.

Anna: Now back to your letters.

a few hours later at the red room-

Bucky: *muttering to himself* this is not how I thought my life would end killed because I couldn’t find a 3 year olds blanket for her 
Nat: you’re not going to find it. I won’t let you take it from her. 
Bucky: I don’t want to take it from her I want to take it to her 
Nat: likely story 
Bucky: look I need the blanket so she stops crying before she gets herself in some major trouble ok so are you going to help me find it or not. 
*They have a stare down* 
Nat: wait here 
*she goes and comes back a few minutes later with Yelena* 
Nat: I need you to get Thea’s blankie 
*Yelena eyes Bucky nervously* 
Nat: it’s ok he’s taking it to her and he’s not going to tell where we hid it or he leaves empty handed 
*Yelena nods and slips into a small gap in the wall on the other side of the room that she just barely fits in coming out with the blanket in her hands* 
Bucky: there was no way in hell I was finding it there 
Yelena: that’s why Nat had me hide it there when I found it. So it was safe. 
Nat: we’ll know if you don’t give it to her 
Bucky: threat received young widow. Now *holds hand out* the blanket 
*Yelena looks to Nat who nods she hugs the blanket tightly before giving it to Bucky* 
Bucky: she’s lucky to have such good big sisters. Now I suggest you both get back to where your meant to be before they notice you’re missing and come looking.

okay here is the whole thing almost-
I walk over to her door hesitating for a second. I take a deep breath
before knocking.
Anna: Hey,
Thea: What?
Anna: So, Loki and I decided that the wedding's going to happen a
little sooner than expected.
Thea: What?!
Anna: An hour at most maybe, i'm not sure, you can wear whatever..
we... we don't really have a plan.
I watch as Thea's eyes widen and I look down the tears I was hoping
would stay away, start to stream down my face. I wipe them away
quickly telling myself not too.
Anna: Buck said he would make a cake... I doubt that's gonna pan out.
Thea: Anna.
Anna: We got rings and everything and-
Thea: Anna!
I sigh and look at her sure that my eyes are betraying me.
Anna: What?
Thea: I'm sorry but you can't just barge in here saying you're about
to marry the male equivalent to the dirt on my boots and expect me to
go with it, when did you even get engaged? Why are you getting married
now? and why the fuck are you crying?
the closer she gets i can see the anger and hurt in her eyes i can
feel the confusion coming from her and the concern when she asks me
why i'm crying
Anna: Thea....
Thea: Did he do something to you?
She all but whispers and i see her searching my eyes, i step back.
Anna: No...no he didn't why woul-
My eyes widen and I let out a small laugh.
Anna: He didn't hurt me and he didn't use mind tricks to convince me.
Honestly, how weak do you think I am?... I love him, and I'm gonna
marry him before it's too late.
I can't tell what's going through her mind and I'm not sure I want to
know at this point.
Thea: What are you talking about? I wasn't thinking that i- i'm just
worried about you, you've been acting kind of weird lately and i-
Anna: Thea... I just had to tell the love of my life that i'm the
reason he's going to die
Thea: I-
Anna: That's why I'm crying, you can either come or not. I don't have
the energy to argue with you about all the things i can't fucking
explain. This has been the most stressful week of this life by far,and
I want you there. I don't care if you hold a grudge with Loki or not,
just be there...please
Thea's pov-
Anna sighs turning and walking away before I could say anymore. As my
brain continues to work overtime trying to make any sense of what just
happened I feel Kates arms wrap around my waist.
“Come on Bub you can’t go in sleep shorts and a bralette no matter how
much you wish it was anybody but Loki.”  Her words are mumbled into my
shoulder where she’s placing kisses. I sigh leaning into her.
“How much of that did you hear?” She continues to kiss along my
shoulder as she walks backwards pulling us both into the room fully
“All of it. She wants you there Bub possibly more then anybody else.
can you imagine how you’d feel if Anna or your sisters felt for me the
way you feel about Loki? She knows you don’t get on knows you probably
never will but she hopes that you’ll be there because you love her as
much as she loves you. She’s practically your third sister Bub we are
both going to put some actual clothes on and then we are going to go
and find everyone else and find out what we can do to help.” I sigh. I
can’t believe this is happening.
“I-“ Kate cuts me off. Grabbing my shoulders turning me around to face her
“No Bub. I know there are a lot of things I don’t know when it comes
to Anna and her powers but I know enough to know they give her some
type of insight into the future and that insight is leading her to the
conclusion that the man she loves is going to die and soon and all she
wants before that happens is to marry him and to have the people she
loves most there when she does.” I frown and feel my body slump in
defeat. She’s not wrong it really seemed like Anna didn’t think she
was going to be able to save Loki and as much as I would live to just
hand him over to ugly I know it’s going to damn near kill Anna when it
happens. I lean forward as Kate leans in our foreheads readying
against each other I smirk
“And you said I wouldn’t need that skirt.” Kate laughs knowing that
I’m at least going to try to be happy about the situation. As she goes
to answer the door swings open and standing in the doorway is Nat.
“I don’t need to tell you to behave do I?” She ‘asks’ I know my sister
well enough to know that is her way of telling me to behave.  I roll
my eyes.
“Do you really think so little of me that I’d ruin Anna’s wedding for
her?” I turn to my sister being met by her glare she reserves just for
me and Lena.
“No but I wouldn’t put it past you to ruin Loki’s so just remember
that it is also Anna’s.” I scoff at her words
“I’d rather not” Kate squeezes my waist as she walks behind me moving
around the room we are staying in looking for something to wear, a
silent warning to behave. Nat sighs.
“Look I’m not exactly a huge fan of Loki’s either but he makes her
actually happy and seems to truly be past the whole wanting to take
over earth thing. So put your big girl panties on suck it up and be
happy for her or stay the hell in here until it’s over. Just know you
not going will ruin it for her anyway. Now if you’ll excuse me I have
to go and repeat this conversation with Yelena.” Nat turns leaving the
room again. I flop onto the bed groaning
“I know Bub.” Kate leans over me kissing my lips once before grabbing
my hands and pulling me back up into a sitting position.
“Out of all the people in the universe she had to fall in love with
that one.” I glare. Kate chuckles, kissing me quickly again.
“Bub you’ve got that cranky kitten look going again.” I glare harder
causing the raven haired beauty I call my girlfriend to throw her head
back with a laugh
“Come on, let's get this over with.” I stand up causing Kate to take a
step back so I had space
Anna: Shit, Shit, Shit.
Wanda: Anna, You need to calm down okay, i'm sure she'll be here.
I laugh turning towards wanda who has Tommy in her arms
Anna: Don't Lie To Me.
my voice is firm and she rolls her eyes
Wanda: Fine, whatever I'm going to find vis because obviously I won't
be able to stop you from freaking out.
She leaves the room leaving me with Steve and shuri.
Shuri: Well, this isn't awkward.
She pulls at the collar of her dress something her mother asked her to
wear for the occasion
Anna: Shuri, please let your brother know we will start in 5.
She nods giving me a quick smile and letting out a quick thank for
being released
Anna: She's not gonna come, I know i was asking a lot of her and it's
not like it matters its just a wedding and were totally going yo get
through this no one is going to die, no one, no one, no one, no one
i start to spiral thinking of the past i start to shake my hands
pulling on the dress and suddenly i feel hands holding my shoulders
and i hear steve's voice
Steve: Anna, Everything is going to be okay.
He smiles softly and I glare at him
Anna: but how do you know that, how can you be so sure?
my voice is almost a whisper as i pray my voice doesn't break but i
know as always my eyes must give it away he pulls me too him and i
rest my head in his shoulder the shaking hasn't stopped but the
feeling of anxiety and fear wavers i hear his muffled voice
Steve: Everything is going to be okay.
I take a deep breath, the tension leaving my body as it seems this
might be my last moment of peace before the inevitable.
Anna: Thank you.
I hear the door open and a cranky voice
Thea: I thought you were marrying loki?
Kate laughs but pulls thea close to here whispering a warning bub
before saying hello.
Kate: I am so sorry we are almost late.
Anna: You are late.
i give her a blank look and i can tell it gets to her i look at their
outfits of course theas wearing all black it seems as though kate did
make her put effort into it though.
Anna: Nice pants.
My voice is monotone. I see Steve look between us a slight worry in
his usual stoic expression
Steve: How about you guys go sit down.
He grabs them both, Thea shooting him a look he lets go but leads them
out of the room letting me know he'll alert them that i'm ready.
I move towards the mirror they moved in here for me i pull at a strand
of my hair.
Anna: Think of it as practice after this is over we can do it for
real, one week and we'll be having a real wedding on asgard...
I shake my head and that's when I hear a voice telling me the worst is
yet to come i push the feeling away.
Anna: All you have to do right now is go get married, so do it.
I turn to the doors and knock lightly letting them know i'm ready
They open the doors i use my powers on the flower petals they set out
let them fall slowly through the air as i walk i don't meet loki's
eyes at first i look for the one person who made this possible clint
joins me
so does steve I smile at them both as the lock arms with me we
continue walking i see wanda whos crying as Vision looks on confused
holding the boys pietro is sniffling though he's trying to look tough
i see kate tap thea, i'm not sure how to explain the look thea gives or
what could be going through her mind at the moment but that's when i
see him,
My Loki, I can't help it the tears have already started falling the
walk is short and i can tell loki is holding back tears when we get to
the front clint and steve give me quick hugs before both going to a
side of loki they each have a hand on his shoulder
"Hurt her and you die." says Clint, Steve glares at Loki who nods
I laugh and grab Loki's hand. We turn to T'challa who offered to officiate
"Welcome everyone! On this beautiful day, Anna and Loki have
brought us together to celebrate their love and union in matrimony.
Thank you all for joining us and being a part of their love story.
We’d like to take a moment to also remember the people who can’t be
here today. We are sure they are with us
today in spirit."
We pause for a moment of silence and t'challa continues

Loki's lips find their way to mine, and he leans in close and whispers
his joy into my ear, placing small kisses all over it. I respond with
soft laughter and nuzzling into his chest, causing him to chuckle
lightly. After several moments of silence we finally break apart, our
eyes never leaving each other' He presses his lips gently against my
temple. "You look wonderful" he murmurs, before leaning forward and
giving me another gentle kiss on the lips.
Everyone applauds loudly while we stand facing each other smiling and
kissing one another. Once everyone's calmed down, and everyone is
sitting back down, Steve begins to speak again.
Steve says "We were hoping for some speeches by the couple themselves
but considering the circumstances i'll skip that, since they both
already know what they want to say anyway." he chuckles and i grin
sheepishly at Loki. “The ceremony itself is simple but the words
spoken in it are something worth remembering forever. So please
remember them as we come to the end of the ceremony”
Everyone stands up cheering once more. They continue to clap and shout
as we make our way down the aisle and walk down to join the rest of
our families who had gathered in front of the aisle waiting for us.
They all embrace us and congratulate us.
The reception begins shortly afterwards with us sitting at a table
surrounded by people eating and drinking. Everyone seems pretty
content and relaxed. I guess the whole thing didn't quite happen
according to what everyone would expect for our wedding. The only
person that doesn't seem happy about it is none other than Thea, who
keeps glancing over at us every few minutes. I give her a look and she
quickly averts her gaze. Loki and I exchange glances confused but
shrug it off assuming she just really hates weddings and is probably
uncomfortable.
After a short while, Natasha walks over to me. "Anna, Anna, Anna,
Anna" he grins widely "do you know what this means?"
I shake my head smiling back at him "no, what?"
"It means I get first dibs on your babies!" she exclaims, throwing her
arms around me. I roll my eyes. "Okay well maybe not babies
exactly...but soon enough you need to start thinking about names" she
continues still squeezing me tight "and oh my gosh, I totally forgot
to tell you guys the news. your house, your old house in London we
bought it yesterday!"
I blink. "Oh yeah?"
"Yep, you and Loki can move back right now" she squeezes me tighter
"well not you right away obviously but soon."
"Natasha, we talked about this earlier."
She releases me and sighs heavily. "Yeah, I know" She mutters under
her breath and walks away.

Anna: Oh i'm gonna make sure of it.

Laura: He's sweet though, he even shook my hand when we met 

Anna: Oh a gentleman, then he should be fine.

An hour later 

Laura and I are rolling out the cookie dough after it's chilled. I hear the door open and lilas voice.

Lila: Mom, We made it. 

I wipe my hands on my apron making my way to the front room as Laura goes to find Clint.

Anna: Well if it isn't Lila's boyfriend.

I smile and watch Lilas face turn to horror as she realizes we are all here she immediately turns to the hall

Lila: Dad!

she yells, sounding almost identical to her mother, and makes her way down the hall to find him leaving me and the others alone with him.

Anna: Nice to meet you. I'm Anna, one of her aunts

I reach out my hand letting my powers come off of them like smoke the color now a dark black he reaches out shaking it. I feel the fear on him before I see it and yet he still smiles at me offering a firm handshake.

Anna: Your name is?

lila comes back into the room her arms crossed 

Lila: His name is Liam

Anna: I'm very glad he can talk.

I laugh, dropping his hand Lila challenges me with a look and I turn away to the others.

Anna: Tony, Steve, Bucky, Loki, Thor, Nat, Lena, Thea, Clint, Please be gentle with him, try to keep him in one piece until the cookies are finished.

As I turn to leave I hear Lila already scolding the others.

Lila: Don't even think about it pietro!

About an hour later the cookies are done i return to the room to see Liam still standing his coat on as if he hasn't moved from his spot i lean down setting the cookies on the table giving him a confused look.

Anna: Liam, Why don't you take a seat?

Liam: Well I-

Bucky: Quiet.

Bucky smiles when Liam goes silent frowning.

Anna: Bucky.

my voice is firm and he gives me a surprised look 

Bucky: What? I couldn't hear myself think.

Anna: Well lucky for you I could.

 I smack his hand as he reaches for a cookie.

Anna: Put your hand out again and I'll bite it off.

I turn back towards liam after shooting Bucky another one of my cut the crap looks 

Anna: Go sit.

He moves towards lila but Peter takes the seat beside her he moves to the other side and Thea moves to the other

he stands in front of them.

Lila: Just sit down they don't bite.... okay Peter doesn't bite 

the groans shaking her head

Thea: You bite a man one time
Kate: You b-
Anna: Not in front of current company you two
Yelena: No, Kates right she’s bitten Sam twice, Pietro once and your
little boy toy god only just managed to pull his hand away in time
Nat: When did you bite Pietro?
Kate: He shocked her awake while pinning her arms, so she bit his shoulder.
Yelena: It was very funny
Nate: If Aunty Thea’s allowed to bite why aren’t we allowed to bite?
Anna: Aunty Thea isn’t allowed to bite...

i close my eyes taking a long blink  

Anna: unless she asks nicely apparently 

I whisper catching the ears of a few of the adults

Anna: Either way she doesn’t follow the rules. Why do you think Aunty
Nat’s always yelling at her?

Lila has slowly moved from her spot beside them moving to the hall

Thea: Freeze! Did you really think you could slip away baby bird?
Lila: it was worth a shot

She shakes her head. Thea whos been paying attention speaks i feel her hurt, I've been feeling it the past few days.

Thea: please don't say that it wasn't real,
Anna: Thea-

Yelena: it was real to us
she looks from me to Nat and Melina
Yelena: You are my mother, You were my real mother
she's crying now and i push away my plate as she points at Melina, I feel Thea look over to me and i already know where she's going.
Thea: And you, 
Anna: Please stop-
Thea: the closest thing I ever had to one
now she's crying i shake my head

Thea: The best parts of our lives was fake

and none of you told us.
Yelena looks at Nat.

Yelena: All those agents you chemically subjugated around the globe that was us

Thea: and you- you both got out then they made

sure none of us could escape.

Yelena: Are you going to say anything?
