In the end, my childhood dream prevailed. I chose to pursue the medical field, inspired by my ambition to become a cardiologist and follow in my parents' footsteps.

Let me start with my number one hobby: cooking. Ever since I was a kid, I’ve been a mama’s boy, always helping my mom around the house, especially in the kitchen. That’s how I developed my love for cooking. I enjoy preparing delicious meals and letting my mom be the first to try them. Her reactions mostly positive (thanks, Mom!) motivate me to keep improving my skills.

My second hobby is playing online games. Some of my favorites include League of Legends, Overwatch 2, Dota 2, and CS:GO. But the most entertaining ones for me are Mobile Legends and Valorant. I’ve been playing Mobile Legends since its release, and it has become a significant part of my life. When I say "significant," I mean I’m quite the heavy spender I’ve probably spent over ₱50,000 on it! As for Valorant, I started playing during the pandemic to cure my boredom. A little confession: I even played during online classes sometimes (oops). I’ve spent a lot on Valorant too, but these games have done more than entertain me they’ve helped me make new friends and improved my social skills.

My third hobby is traveling the world. So far, I’d say I’ve explored about 35% of it. My most recent trips were to Denmark and Norway. Traveling allows me to experience new cultures, meet new people, and broaden my perspective.

Both of them work in the medical field, which has greatly inspired my dream of following in their footsteps. They are the most incredible parents in the world, not just because of their love and support, but also because of the wisdom and guidance they’ve given me. Their advice has helped shape my ability to make good decisions and instilled in me the values I cherish today.

My parents tied the knot on December 26, 2012, beginning a beautiful journey together. My mom welcomed me into the world on June 18, 2008, and later, our family grew even more special with the arrival of my two awesome younger brothers. My parents’ love and discipline have made our family strong, and I’m forever grateful for everything they’ve done for us.

Yes, this is healthy because I use these media purposefully and in moderation. They contribute to my personal growth, strengthen my relationships, and allow me to manage stress effectively. However, balancing screen time and other offline activities is crucial to maintaining a well-rounded lifestyle.
