Plants are important for the Earth and humans in many ways, and one of these is the process of photosynthesis. Without plants, the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere and the Earth's oceans would be much higher than it already is. Also, most living organism on Earth need oxygen to breathe, not just humans. Look at the amazon rainforest for example, this massive ecosystem of trees and other plants carries the nick name " The lungs of the Earth."

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FF65nXJ8p48

I chose this video for several reasons. One, it is about a minute long, so it doesn't take forever to watch. Two, it is very concise and it hits the mainpoints what what photosynthesis is without using technical scientific jargon.
Photosynthesis can be explained simply and without going into much detail, but it can also be explained with great detail. this means that you could study each step of the process specifically, and determine why or why not certain reactions occur in each step.

I have chosen an angiospern called the Crossvine, its scientific name is Bignonia capreolata. This plant is native to the central and southern United States. Fun Fact the name crossvine iinspired by the pattern that is seen in the tissue of the stem when it is cut in half. Also, its flowers have a tubular shape, and frequently smell like coffee.

Overall, every biome on Earth has been effected by human activity, but the biome i think has been damaged the most if the tropical rainforest biome.
The primary reason widespread deforestation by humans.
Deforestation has happened for various reasons. The most prevalent is the growth of the paper and agriculture industries. Power plants burn trees in order to generate electricity. Also, we know that timber is used in construction and in the creation of various other products (I.e flooring and furniture). The enormous loss of trees from the rainforest biome has negatively affected global warming, a current issue we are trying to stop.

One of the negative impacts this diagram shows is the increased spread of disease. While the increased availabiltiy of food led to the postivie impact of a bigger population, the increased transmission of disease is nature's way of balancing that out, as terrible as it is. The increased transmission of disease was something that i think was unavoidable, with a denser population, there is less room, and less space to spread out. This allows for germs that would normally be dispersed to enter the bodies of humans more easily. Also, most likely the spread happened in enclosed spaces, and then these sick people would walk outside with other humans and unintentionally spread whatever sickness they had. Additionally, disease also had the ability to be transferred back and forth from humans to other animals, which probably worsened the spread more. Overall, i think that the denser population, and more people within closed spaces, increased the chances for contracting illness.

I think the biggest and most important innovation of the third agriculutral revolution was the introduction of genetically modified foods, but in this case it started with modifed seeds of plants, purported to be disease and pest resistant. The introduction of GMO's has trnaformed the food supply and largely improved the lives of humans today. Current science shows so far that GMO's are completely safe to consume, with the only " risk" being the changing of nutritional value, which can be mitigated through fortifying and enriching foods with the nutrients that were lost.
Another problem that sometimes happens is that the altered compostion of the food is not recognized by the human body, and is therefore nt broken down by the body, and is instead just removed through bowel movement.
I found this web page that lists some effects of the third agricultural revolution, and some arguments against it.
https://aphgagreviewmohler.weebly.com/the-third-agricultural-revolution.html

This acid is and organic com pound that comes from willow trees, it is a colorless solid, and it had been used for a long time by itself for its anti-clotting and pain relief properties. Thus was the case until 1763, when it became an important compontent of the medicine we know today as aspirin.
https://www.theenglishgarden.co.uk/plants/5-drugs-derived-from-plants/
This url talks a little bit more about aspirin, it is number 2 on the list.

This is a picture showing part of the massive pollution in Bangladesh, one of the most polluted places in the world. I thin that if present day agricultural, economic, social, and political practices go unchecked, gradually the whole world will be covered in trash. It would most likely be similar to how the earth looked in that science fiction movie Wall-E.
I chose this picture because, we already have enoumous garbage patches in our oceans and places like bangladesh. If efforts to clean up pollution end up being unsuccessful, then this vey well could be what the Earth will look like in the future. Although huge progress has been made with technology to clean pollution, there are still some countries that do not have either the resources or even the support of their own governments.
