Wastewater treatment is the process of taking wastewater and making it suitable for it to go back into the environment. Waste water can be made from different activities like, washing, bathing, and using the toilet. Rainwater run off is also considered wastewater. It doesn't matter where it comes from, this water contains bacteria and other contaminates. So this treatment reduces the contaminats and makes the water acceptable for releases into the environment.
