The caption states, "America's first homeland security." This means that the right to carry weapons was the first form of self defense. Although it is scary knowing that weapons are so easily available to people, this amendment is important because it provides safety for the people when needed.

2. Amendment lV - Freedom from Unreasonable Search and Seizures

This right gives the people the right to say no to police searches unless they provide a valid reason why.
#FreedomToSayNo #KeepYourHandsToYourself
Link to photo: https://funologist.org/2014/09/07/building-consent-culture-acorn/

In this cartoon the police officer is asking the woman to empty her pockets, however the woman ends up not giving consent to the unreasonable search. This amendment is very important. I believe that it is even more significantly important to teen males as well due to the fact that Gang Unit often harasses teen males who just "look suspicious" when they're just walking down the street minding their own business. The ability to refuse a search provides security and a sense of personal freedom to people against the authorities.

3. Amendment lV - Government Must Have A Search Warrant on a Probable Cause

This right provides the people with security and privacy from the government due to the fact that the authorities must have a search warrant on a probable cause in order to do any searches.
#GovernmentNotWelcome #SearchWarrantFirst
Link to photo: http://pennacrimlaw.com/the-4th-amendment-search-warrants/

In this photo the mat that is usually supposed to be a welcome mat, states "come back with a warrant." This means without a valid search warrant there will be no entry into the home. This amendment is important because it provides the people with security and privacy against the authorities. This also prevents the authorities from performing any unreasonable searches. From personal experience, the authorities sometimes fail to provide warrants and cause trouble in homes which is a horrible thing to go through. With this amendment, it provides others with the ability to say no to authorities so they won't have to go through the same thing I have.
