      <description>Mental illness is a growing issue in Canada. With every 1 in 5 canadians being affected 
on a yearly basis. The question is, what are the rights of a patient with mental 
health? There is a separate charter explaining these rights that patients in psychiatric care must follow. These include some basic consent and privacy rights, as well as personal care rights.</description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><br>CAMH is Canada’s largest mental health and addiction teaching hospital. As well as one of the leading research centers for mental health and addictions.</div><div><br></div><div>CAMH is lead by the President and CEO Dr. Catherine Zahn, she also has a team of professionals working under her that include VP’s, Human Resource workers, Clinical Officers, Physicians, and many more.&nbsp;</div><div><br>CAMH’S Mission/ Strategic Plan: In June 2012, CAMH launched a program called Vision 2020: tomorrow.today, an eight year Strategic Plan to build on the legacy of their founding organizations and their core values.</div><div>Their vision is to transform lives while learning and building to discover more potential.&nbsp;</div><div>They value courage, respect, and excellence</div><div>They have six strategic directions that they follow, those are:</div><ol><li>Enhance recovery by improving access to integrated care and social support.</li><li>Earn a reputation for outstanding service, accountability and professional leadership.</li><li>Build an environment that supports recovery.</li><li>Ignite discovery and innovation</li><li>Revolutionize education and knowledge exchange</li><li>Drive social change.</li></ol><div>FACTS AND STATS:</div><div>In any given year, 1 in 5 canadians will suffer from a mental health disorder.</div><div>People aged 15 to 24 are more likely to be affected by a mental health disorder.</div><div>People with a mental illness are more likely to experience substance abuse problems than those who do not.</div><div><br>How can you get involved?!</div><div>You can easily get involved through CAMH, here’s how:</div><ol><li>Become a change agent: by contributing on a regular basis, you provide them with a regular source of funding that supports mental health care, treatment, education and research at CAMH.</li><li>Give a gift of light: CAMH’S gifts of light symbolic giving program provide tangible gifts that support comfort and care directly to those who need it the most at CAMH.</li><li>Hold an event: By holding an event in support of CAMH, you help them to spread mental health awareness while raising funds towards important programs at CAMH.</li><li>Give a tribute gift: Honour a loved one with a donation to CAMH.          <description><![CDATA[<div>&nbsp;&nbsp;</div><div>The founder of We Trust Feelings (wtf) is Jasmyn and Makayla.</div><div><br></div><div><strong>Mental Health Improves the Quality of Life</strong></div><div>When we are free of depression, anxiety, excessive stress and worry, addictions, and other psychological problems, we are more able to live our lives to the fullest.</div><div>Peace of mind is a natural condition, and is available to everyone.</div><div><br></div><div>This topic is important to us because we care about our friends and family and many people can be effected by theses acts, emotions and gestures.&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>Workers: Alexi Runke, Sydney chornoboy, Skyler Friesen, Taylor Peters, Makayla Lorteau and Jasmyn Martens.</div><div><br></div><div>Our objective is to keep people healthy, clean and mind free of any bad thoughts. Help people show them there is more to life, things worth living for.</div><div><br></div><div>Strategies our organization used is social media, we have Facebook and Instagram because those are the most used. Going to school to presentations. We have made&nbsp; pamphlets, we also have fundraiser by selling many different key chains ex.. Our symbol, hearts, quotes and loving words to cheer up your day. and 70% of that goes to us to fund all our trips,gas,and to pay our workers. When you go to major retailers and they explanations to where it's going.&nbsp;</div><div>We have done our research on where and how to get young kids attention, also how to theses parents attention to watch for the signs.&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>How we run off not getting a lot we have volunteers and annual funds supporters, we also get donations and the key chains help us.</div><div><br>We try to touch people's hearts make them help and choose the saddest pictures to use on social media.</div>]]></description>
