— If ingested by animals could make them sick and potentially kill them
— For example the bald eagles became endangered when a type of pesticide (DDT) was in ground water and ingested by the bald eagles.     -Definition of Selective Breeding: The process by which humans use animal and plant breeding to selectively develop particular phenotypic traits that they deem as important.
    -All types of dogs descended from the grey wolf.
    -Humans breed dogs to get a certain phenotypic trait they want but it comes at a cost. The process removes the genetic variation of those out through the process. After going through the process, they are also more likely to develop genetic diseases. Some traits that were present before can be lost in the process. Lastly, there is no way of 100% of the time getting exactly what you want so it could take many attempts putting multiple dogs in jeopardy.

    - If the invasive species kills off another that is best adapted, reproduction could become very difficult. This may force the population to drop. 
    - Another article says that species that have invasion success are indeed successful because they can respond positively to natural selection. This could happen because of evolutionary adaptations.

    Farmers use selective breeding on a farm for many different reasons. They choose which specified featured and desired traits that are wanted for the cattle. They find two parents that can support those traits and selectively breed the animals to make the cattle which will have the desired traits and specified features. Different traits are needed for different reasons and it depends on the animal and it’s job. Animals that are for work will be bigger and stronger to create more power. The farmers choose which traits are needed and find two parents to breed.
