• Select the shape that you are wanting to move.

• Create a new layer

• Find the old layer in the layers tab and look for the colored dot on the right side of the old layer. The dot symbolizes the image that is selected.

• Click, hold and drag the dot to the new layer, this transfers the object to the new layer.

• Select the top layer and lock it.

• See how the layer beneath it reacts

• Unlock your top layer and see how the reaction between the layers changes

• Hide your Layer 1

• Select your Layer 2 and draw some shapes

• Unhide your Layer 1

• Click on the arrow in Layer 1 to see the separate shapes

• Click on the + to add a second layer.

• Draw some shapes on your Layer 1

• Click on the icon to open up the layers

Do a sketch of your animal on paper first - Keep it simple, you’re not really drawing the animal — you’re mainly just drawing its features

• Take a photo of your sketch if you want something to follow

• Place it on your layer 1 and lock it

• Create a second drawing layer and using only circles and Shapebulder create your animal

• Use different gradient colors & fills in your animal and also your background

• Hide your layer 1

• Make a new layer underneath your animal drawing and fill it with a gradient

• Take a screenshot and turn in your project
