A car shape is more streamline, that is why we have decided to use it instead. We also have used Lego pieces with holes in them so the Popsicle sticks can roll freely with little friction.

What will I work on next?:
We will work on making the design better. One wheel of this prototype is not touching the ground, but, it is an improvement from our last prototype. We also need straight wheel placement, our cars seem to always lean one way.

How will I do this?
We will use a more appropriate base for our body, something with a better streamline for aerodynamics. Maybe use a lego for the base plate holding the wheels together. Lego is very square so we will get a straight wheel placement. We will also aim to get the same sized wheels.

This was our second model. We made a list of the problems of the first prototype and changed our design. Firstly, as the bottom of the chassey was made of paper, the wheels would keep on ripping off. Also the design of the car was not aerodynamic enough, it could have been improved as the wood created many bumps and areas that air could hit, it wasn't very smooth. On our second prototype, we didn't use paper, this made the whole product stronger, and we also used a water bottle for the outside body of the car so that it was more aerodynamic and smooth.
